Mosaic NFA's. Provide administrative or clerical support, and / or provide reception service presenting a positive image of the Council.

Key Receptibilities:

Create and update documents using standard formats or templates.
Input and maintain records and documents.
Make routine arrangements and bookings and prepare straight forward materials for and provide support at external/internal events and activities.
Filing, checking or matching data to ensure records are maintained.
Record and process routine financial information e.g. collating, charges and sale of goods.
Receive visitors and provide/request information in person and by telephone in a courteous manner promoting customer care.
Issue and discharge service materials.

Qualifications:

RSA II/NVQII

Knowledge:

Knowledge of office equipment

Experience:

Experience of an office office environment

Skills & Abilities:

ICT skills including bespoke databases, spreadsheets, word processing packages etc
Effective communication skills
Good customer liaison skills.
Ability to exchange information verbally or in writing with a customer focus
Accuracy and ability to prioritise work

Job Requirements:

- Flexible approach to working hours and days including working Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays as appropriate, and when required.

About the role

Balfour Beatty are currently looking for a Fleet Co-ordinator to join our Asset & Technology Solutions (ATS) team based in Derby.

Within this role you'll be required to work cross functionally across the Hub Operations teams, delivering aspects of Operational Fleet support

What you'll be doing

As a Fleet Co-ordinator you'll:

• Efficient sourcing of external short-term hire vehicles typically generated by gaps in the core fleet availability resulting from (but not limited to); breakdowns, extended downtime and short duration additional requirements.
• Accurately capture and monitor through to resolution HGV Helpdesk incidents, working closely with the wider operations team to minimise downtime and maximise customer satisfaction.
• Develop relationships with the customer and provide them with regular reporting relevant to the Service Desk function.
• Provide prompt resolution to any disputes raised by the customer, liaising with all relevant parties to reach an agreed outcome.
• Ensuring on-going records are amended to reduce the risk of repeat.
• Ensure that records are maintained in compliance with the processes outlined within the Balfour Beatty Business Management System
• Support the Fleet Hub Manager with supply chain management including attendance at planned Operational review meetings.
• Consistently review processes and procedures to ensure efficiency through daily operations: pro-actively suggest improvements to processes where inefficiencies are identified to ensure continuous improvement and enable lean working practices.

Who we're looking for

You'll have/be:

• Strong communication, interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
• Capable of prioritising their workload ensuring they deliver what is required within the given timescales.
• Able to demonstrate a tenacious approach to problem solving; investigating all appropriate avenues until such time that resolution is reached.

Ideally, you'll have previous experience within a similar role, although not essential.
