Performs multiple, varying, and complex assignments under the minimal direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. Applies skill and experience developing costs and schedules; and for planning, coordinating, tracking, and identifying resources for small programs and projects through completion. Assists senior specialists by providing life-cycle support and information for day-to-day management and oversight of the critical elements of programs and projects including scope, budget, risk and schedules.

Applies experience and comprehensive knowledge of project/program management principles and processes to analyze, identify, and evaluate program requirements and plans. The incumbent designs and recommends solutions to complex problems to aid in decision-making and prepares detailed analyzes and estimates of annual funding needs. • Serves as a technical expert and provides authoritative advisory services throughout the Department pertaining to position classification and position management to Civil Service and Domestic Foreign Service managers, supervisors, and employees.
• Interprets and influences the development of departmental guidance for position classification and position management; evaluates and re-engineers classification applications and processes to improve the effectiveness of program delivery.

As a Financial Compliance Manager (Chief, Office of Compliance), you will:

• Direct and monitor the Bureau's internal control, product accountability, and internal quality audit program to provide reasonable assurance that assets are safeguarded from loss, misuse, or misappropriation, and to ensure conformance with the Bureau's quality management system.

The Branch manager is responsible for a branch that includes four small and three medium hub airports. This responsibility includes 306 Federally funded airports throughout Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska and Missouri including more than 35 Part 139 certified airports.

Supervises the assistant branch manager and technical staff of up to 17 employees staff engaged in administering all aspects of Airports programs.

The selectee is responsible for overseeing and directing the implementation of the Airport Improvement Program (AIP) ensuring, at a high level, the appropriate coordination (both internal and external) takes place. The program involves airport planning (airport master planning, state and/or metropolitan system planning) and implementation of the National Environmental Policy Act. The AIP requires annual updates to the office of Airports Capital Improvement Plan (ACIP) and includes primary and non-primary airports.

Collaborates with all organizations and stakeholders to address corporate level initiatives, acting as an Agent of FAA for meeting with DOT, States, local municipalities, Airports, etc.
