Job Summary: The Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) will act autonomously within their professional scope of practice providing care for patients presenting with minor and acute illness and injury, working with the GPs to support same day demand and acute care needs of the patients. This will be via face to face, video, telephone and e-consultations. The postholder will operate within their own sphere of competence and agreed acceptable limits of practice to provide expert professional clinical advice to patients, carers and colleagues, ensuring clinical safety and excellence. The Advanced Nurse Practitioner will need to prioritise and triage the needs of patients accordingly, making any necessary referrals for investigations in the appropriate manner. There is a planned move for this service anticipated by autumn 2026 thisrole and base of work will predominantly relocate to Bournemouth Site. Upon relocation of the role/service, excess mileage allowance / reimbursement will not apply, and any travel between the postholder’s home and work base will be classified as a commute. Any other changes unrelated to this, will be handled in line with Trust/National terms and conditions.
• To be first point of contact for queries for the discharge facilitators/keyworker
• Work autonomously with support from the Clinical Discharge Leads, Cluster leads and wards across both UHD sites supporting with monthly meetings for information sharing and training.
• Establish and maintain effective, collaborative working with colleagues in Primacy/Secondary Care, Social Services, Voluntary and independent Sectors in all aspects of patient care, including family members and carers.
• Ensure that personal support and development is gained through performance review, regular supervision and that training needs are identified with subsequent training as appropriate, in line with Trust policy
• Be a patient advocate
• Escalate delays or complex issues within the discharge planning process in line with the agreed escalation process ensuring the appropriate professionals and/or senior managers are notified
• Actively participate in your own personal development plan with your supervisor in order to develop the skills and knowledge required to carry out the responsibilities set out in the job description.

Warehouse Operative

Job Location: Poole, Dorset
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £25,500 - £28,500 per annum
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday 7.30am – 4.30pm
Holidays: 22 days + 8 Bank holidays

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on a Permanent basis, based in Poole.

Within this role, you will be responsible for looking after the warehouse stock, issuing stock to the tradespeople and undertaking stock checks / audits.

For this role we are looking for you to have;

• Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience as a warehouse operative
• Experience of using PCs with the ability to update with stock checks, book in / out of goods and maintain traceability of stock

Your duties will include;

• Keeping accurate records of warehouse stock.
• Conducting regular stock checks and audits.
• Issuing stock to tradespeople's and ensuring their vans are fully stocked
• Implementing and maintaining efficient storage solutions
• Undertaking stock checks / audits
• Using PC to book in/out of stock and maintain accurate records
