Reporting into the Social Value Manger and overseeing a wide range of projects including frameworks in the education, health care and leisure. Including refurbishment, new build and demolition.

The role of Social Value Coordinator will involve organising and hosting of events to raise awareness of the client's positive impact on the society surrounding their projects. Also creating data based on the monitoring of data provided by internal and external teams.

As Social Value Coordinator you will oversee up to 7 projects across the Southwest working closely with project teams, stakeholders and local communities. Creating Social Value plans and supporting the wider marketing team.

We operate a seven day service caring for patients who are undergoing funded treatment and attract both national and international self-referrals. As a Regional Lead Occupational Therapist and Sensory Integration Practitioner, you will be:

• Providing professional management and leadership for the Occupational therapy and sensory integration service across Yorkshire and the Midlands
• Providing expert advice and expertise regarding the Occupational therapy and sensory integration profession to the regional team regarding service development and workforce planning.
• Establishing, monitoring and evaluating an effective supervision framework for the Occupational Therapy team and apply processes to manage performance.
• Supporting recruitment of Occupational Therapy staff across the region
• Identifying training needs for Occupational therapy staff and participate in the development and delivery of Occupational Therapy CPD opportunities

  To be successful in this role, you will need:

• To be qualified and registered as an Occupational Therapist
• At least 6 years post qualifying experience.
• Registered with the HCPC and meet the necessary continuing professional development requirements in order to remain on the register.
• Hold the relevant sensory practitioner qualifications
• A full and clean UK driving licence

An opportunity has arisen for an Orthopaedic Optimisation Project Lead Fixed at Guys and St Thomas’ NHS Trust.

We have funding for an exciting new project which will manage Orthopaedic referrals for the South-east of London. The APP team in the integrated musculoskeletal Service will work together on this project andan opening has arisen within the team to participate in and supportthis exciting initiative whilst maintain clinical waiting times and meeting of activity targets.

The role provides leadership in expanding FCP clinics in primary care, working in MCATTs clinics in the Trust and as a clinical specialist in the Guys and St Thomas’ musculoskeletal outpatient department.

We are looking to further expand the FCP workforce to meet increasing demand.You will get the opportunity to work closely in PCNs . We have a well-established orthopaedic practitioner service within the organisation as well as MCATTs offering injection and POCUS intervention within the service.

You will be part of a highly skilled clinical team with diverse extended clinical experience who can help develop your capabilities, provide peer support and professional development.

An MSc or equivalent, and previous experience of extended scope practice/ clinical specialist is required, but a full induction package will be undertaken.

The Integrated Musculoskeletal physiotherapy service, comprising MCATTs and MSK physiotherapy services, is managed within the Physiotherapy Service and provides MCATTS assessment and physiotherapy to patients within the Trust and in local community clinics.

Musculoskeletal physiotherapy offers services on both acute sites (Guys and St Thomas’), in community at Pulross Intermediate Care Centre and Gracefield Gardens, at GP practices as part of the First Contact Practitioner (FCP) provision and, at local gyms in the Lambeth and Southwark Boroughs
• Provides an advanced level of clinical practice exercising autonomy of decision making in a context of complexity, uncertainty and varying levels of risk, holding accountability for their decisions.
• Responsible for the operational management of the Integrated Musculoskeletal (iMSK) Physiotherapy service in conjunction with the Consultant Physiotherapist in iMSK and Clinical Lead and the Head of Physiotherapy and contributes to departmental management and Trust initiatives in strategic planning and development of the iMSK Physiotherapy service across the whole organisation.
• Uses expert clinical reasoning skills to provide highly specialist support and advice to the physiotherapy team and other medical staff, whilst maintaining a clinical caseload of highly complex patients
• Professional and clinical leadership in the development and implementation of a comprehensive training and personal development plan for all designated physiotherapy staff and, in conjunction with the management team, strives to ensure excellence of training across the whole organisation.

The post holder will act as patient and participant advocate at all times, the post holder will be expected to co-ordinate research clinics and organise study related care. They will implement and evaluate strategies to identify and assist in the enrolment of research participants.

The post-holder will lead on a portfolio of research studies and perform a range of clinical assessments in line with accepted standards of practice. They will communicate proactively with the study and clinical teams to ensure good participant experience and adherence to study protocols. The post holder will be responsible for case report form completion, site file management, implementation of amendments and maintenance of databases. They will act as mentor and support for new and junior team members. They will contribute to quality assurance processes within the team. The post holder will ensure the well-being of participants by adhering to study protocols, relevant regulations and local Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

The Gastrointestinal Medicine and Surgery research team delivers studies across the multidisciplinary gastrointestinal department. The team is made up of Principal Investigators and Sub-investigators, Research Nurses and Clinical Research Practitioners who work together to deliver studies to high standards across both Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospital sites.

Clinical and Communication Responsibilities
• Provide excellent customer care skills to ensure patients and participants come first.
• Work within relevant regulations and ICH GCP (International Conference on Harmonisation and Good Clinical Practice) ensuring that the clinical trial protocol is adhered to at all times.
• Lead on a portfolio of trials and coordinate participation. This requires liaising with the clinical team to organise and ensure that trial specific investigations are undertaken according to the protocol, paying particular attention to accurate data collection and dissemination and version control of essential documentation.
• Devise, implement and evaluate strategies for recruiting participants into clinical studies and identify individuals potentially eligible for research studies. Gain permissions for research contacts.
• For specific studies post holder may be delegated to obtain consent from participants in line with Trust policy and research protocol.
• Organise and facilitate participant appointments and follow-up phone calls.
• Accurately perform and record observations of clinical activities required according to personal competencies and the study protocol and obtain the results including blood pressure, temperature, respirations, questionnaires, urinalysis, weight and height, and report abnormalities or changes appropriately.
• Report any adverse events or health concerns which occur whilst the participant is taking part in the study to the appropriate doctor or nurse in a timely manner, and to the appropriate principal or co-investigator.
• Liaise with pharmacy to co-ordinate the availability and dispensing of study drugs if appropriate.
• Perform tasks requiring clinical and laboratory skills, including phlebotomy, venepuncture, tissue and blood sample preparation within clinic and laboratory in line with personal competencies and approved study protocol
• Process biological samples according to personal competencies and the study-specific protocol and laboratory manual and organise the storage, shipment and documentation of samples.
• Provide ongoing support to the participant and carer whilst participating in the clinical study.
• Communicate study related information effectively with the research team and study participants and their family members. This information may be complex or sensitive, and there may be barriers to understanding.
• Communicate effectively and efficiently specialised advice pertaining to research protocols to members of the multidisciplinary team.
• Engage effectively with other departments and wards at the site/s, in order to promote a good working environment, integration of research and open channels of communication.
• Communicate with external study coordinators and sponsor representatives, nationally and internationally.
• Attend and participate in departmental meetings and help promote new ideas and methods and assist in their implementation.
• Attend and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Arrange, attend and record minutes for research and other relevant departmental meeting.
• Attend national and international study specific meetings and disseminate information to members of the multi-disciplinary team as required.

Information and data management
• Update participant study and medical records to accurately document study related activity and procedures.
• Ensure the confidentiality of verbal, written and computerised information.
• Complete case report forms in a precise and timely manner, ensuring that all the relevant clinical data in the participant’s medical notes and study file is transcribed accurately.
• Responsible for the maintenance of the Investigator Site Files.
• Aid with local study set up to ensure all applicable documents are ready to use once relevant approvals are received. Organise study set up visits, involving all relevant departments.
• Create databases, validate and maintain them and ensure their security and compliance with the data protection act.
• Update and maintain centralised database.
• Responsible for ensuring that all data queries are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of good office systems for the smooth running of the service.
• Plan, prepare documentation and participate in audit and monitoring visits.
• Implement strategies to ensure full and accurate data-set for all study participants.
• Process amendments according to standard operating procedure as received in a timely manner.
• Collate data and compile reports for the Clinical Lead, Research Managers and commercial sponsors as required.
• Provide timely information and reports to reflect recruitment of patients including timely entry to EDGE according to team processes.

Management and leadership
