Mobile Caretaker

40 hours per week
We have an opportunity for a Mobile Caretaker to join our Estates team, based in Ely. The role will involve working alongside another Caretaker with occasional lone working to cover annual leave and sickness. Role to start January 6th 2025.
The role of Mobile Caretaker will include:
- Cleaning communal areas of flats, hostels, and housing for older people schemes on a rota
- Removing bulky waste from sites following works orders
- Ensuring Health and Safety protocols are followed
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and used in line with policies and procedures
Skills and experiences:
- Knowledge of cleaning and caretaking, and an understanding of COSHH and Risk Assessments
- Knowledge of how to use grounds machinery confidently and competently. BICS training is desirable
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
- Practical experience of carrying out risk assessments
- This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
