Please note that with effect from 1 April 2023, where a role requires PVG membership, candidates will be required to meet the cost of the PVG membership. The Council will pay for the PVG membership cost initially, either £18 for existing PVG scheme members, or £59 for non-members, and this cost will be deducted from an employee’s first FULL month’s salary payment.

To provide financial support to the Finance Controls team staff in relation to the a
range of tasks including community care commitments, billing, reconciliations, finance processing and payment of allowances. Liaising with managers, suppliers and elected Members and resolving various issues whilst providing a high performing, customer focused finance support service to the services and on behalf of the City Council and external bodies

The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:

• Standard Grades or equivalent
