Talking Therapies St Helens is the provider of Talking Therapies primary care psychological therapies across St Helens and this vacancy here is for a Senior PWP (band 6) position. The role is a permanent post.

Our St Helens Mental Health Recovery & Psychology Team are looking to recruit a band 6 Senior Nurse Practitioner full time on a permanent contract. We are a supportive, well-resourced and dedicated team and there will be opportunities for professional development within the role.

We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse, to work alongside our large multidisciplinary team. A special interest in therapeutic interventions would suit the applicant and a full induction and training will be provided to the right candidate.

The post holder will support the Clinical Team Manager in carrying continuing professional and managerial responsibility for their clinical area. They will also contribute to maintenance of the overall standards, which will include assessment of need and delivery of care within the context of Effective Care Coordination.

CLINICAL

Assist in the development and implementation of integrated care pathways, including appropriate service user referrals and models of care.

Ensure that service users are cared for within the confines of their respective Mental Health Act status and adhere to the requirements of the MHA 1983 and the corresponding Code of Practice. This may include liaison with the home office for restricted service users

Ensure adherence and implementation of Effective Care Coordination.

Ensure that Trust policies and procedures are adhered to.

Assist in the development of local protocols to ensure a high standard of service delivery is achieved and maintained.

About the role

Executive Support Officer

Working within the Corporate Core this will be a key role in supporting the Leader of the Council and the Cabinet working across the organisation and partners locally, regionally and nationally. The role will provide strategic advice to the Leader and Cabinet on current issues and other matters impacting on Council policies. It will also support the Leader in his lead role in the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA).

Key responsibilities

• Working with the Leader and Cabinet in support of the development of policies and strategies.

NVQ Level 3 in health and social care desirable

Main Propose of the Role:

The Senior Support Worker is accountable for delivering high quality care to the children and young people resident within the home. The Senior Support Worker is responsible key working children and focussing on obtaining the best outcomes for each child and young person within the home. Consequently, they are expected to demonstrate practical leadership in childcare, as well as organise and support staff to provide the best possible care for each child and young person. This involves being personally available, as well as the supervision and mentoring of staff, organisation of work patterns, and facilitation of care focussed training, and accessing of appropriate services to support the childcare practices within the home. Do you have an excellent understanding and extensive experience in SEND? Are you a skilled and compassionate leader? If so, this may be the opportunity for you. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Senior EHC Assessment and Review Officer for a 2 year fixed-term contract. The role is complex, fast paced, varied, and rewarding, advising and guiding our EHC Officers, managing our most complex cases, including representing the LA at mediation and SENDIST appeal, and ensuring that our statutory work is of a high quality and legally compliant. The Team works in line with all the requirements as set out in the SEND Code of Practice and our Senior EHC Officers require a very strong knowledge of SEND legislation as well as an excellent understanding of how young people with SEND can be supported in Education. Due to the range of duties and high expectations for timeliness and communication the EHC Assessment and Review Team has to work very much as a team.

This role will require the successful candidate to be based at 3 Knowsley Place, opposite the Town Hall and to report to the EHC Assessment and Review Team Manager. Normal hours of work are based around the usual business working week.
