We are looking to appoint a Receptionist / Ward Clerk within Women and Neonatal services based at New Cross Hospital to cover in all other areas within the unit Maternity / Neonates.

The posts will undertake various clerical / reception and appointment duties in connection with the administration processes within Women and Neonatal services. You must possess excellent communication skills both face to face and over the telephone. You must be able to use a keyboard to input information, as well as possessing a mature outlook when dealing with sensitive and confidential issues. You must be flexible and be able to cover in the absence of colleagues.

This will include working in all locations within Women and Neonates to administer clinic preparation, appointments, updating PAS demographics for all ward transactions (admitting / discharging etc.) filing, appointment booking, CNC, scanning etc. You will be required to work in outpatient reception areas and ward reception areas and must be flexible. It is expected that staff will be able to demonstrate a reasonable level of initiative in organising their workloads and in taking decisions and action within clearly defined limits.

We are actively seeking a Senior Customer Relations Handler to join the Customer Services team where you will be regarded as an escalation point for the business and clients, as such you will be required to take ownership and/or provide guidance on complex complaint cases. What will you be doing?

Job Description

A vacancy have arisen for Peripatetic Customer Service Advisors to deliver an excellent front-line contact service to customers of the Council. Whilst the postholder will have an agreed base, there is a requirement for the successful candidate to provide cover at other local Service Points. This is a unique and varied role, in a fast-paced environment, dealing with customer queries by telephone, face-to-face and via the website. The role offers the opportunity to gain knowledge of a number of Council services.

Customer Services operate from 08:45 to 17:00 Monday to Friday.

These posts are subject to the Baseline Personnel Security Standards (BPSS) checks. This check includes Right to Work in the UK, Verification of Identity, a Basic Disclosure Scotland Check and verification of 3 years Employment History.
