An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Housing Management Worker to join a leading charity in Nottingham, providing intensive housing management services and supporting tenants to maintain their tenancies. This is a 3-month contract position with the potential for extension.

THE ROLE
As a Housing Management Worker, you will work as part of a dynamic team managing a portfolio of properties and tenancies. You will provide essential housing management services to tenants, assisting with tenancy support and liaising with internal teams to ensure properties are maintained to the highest standards.

• Directly support tenants with managing their tenancy, including assisting with housing benefit claims and signposting to appropriate support services.
• Conduct assessments of service users to determine eligibility for services and address any risks or needs.
• Work with the Housing Management team to issue correct tenancies, conduct sign-ups, and ensure tenants understand their tenancy obligations.
• Assist in ordering furniture and goods for properties as needed.
• Collaborate with the Asset Management team to maintain property standards, ensure repairs are reported, and properties are safe and suitable for letting.
• Maximise rent collection and follow the arrears management policies and procedures.
• Maintain records and produce reports as required to ensure compliance with service delivery standards.

THE CANDIDATE
To succeed in this role, you will have previous experience in a similar housing management role, ideally within the supported housing sector.

• Experience in supporting tenants with tenancy management and housing benefit claims.
• Knowledge of housing policies, tenancy law, and arrears management.
• Ability to assess risks, needs, and eligibility of service users effectively.
• Experience working with external partners and managing relationships with landlords, communities, and support services.

Nottinghamshire Sexual Violence Support Services is the leading specialist sexual abuse charity, for over 40 years we have been passionately committed to supporting all adults living in Nottingham or Nottinghamshire, who have experienced sexual abuse, we listen, believe and support. We’re currently searching for a fantastic Senior Support Worker to join us in leading our residential service in Arnold, Nottingham This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!

As a Senior Support Worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. You could be allocating shifts, booking in training, inducting new colleagues, supporting with supervision’s, ordering medication and ensuring the people we support are supported to manage their finances. You’ll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Seniors are still at the heart of providing day-to-day support.

We’re interested in our Senior Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Seniors should have previous experience as a Senior Support Worker and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care as well as experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex individuals with mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds and challenging behaviours.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional to join the Enhanced Perioperative Care Unit (EPOC). This is a rapidly developing service which supports the delivery of holistic, high quality care to surgical patients at increased risk of adverse outcomes.

Successful Candidates will have the unique opportunity to help shape this service to enable the EPOC unit to become an outstanding new addition to the surgical perioperative pathway.

EPOC is a bespoke built unit, comprising of 10 beds cross-site of post-operative patients from a variety of specialties including Maxillofacial, ENT, HPB, Plastics, Gynaecology, Colorectal, Vascular, Upper GI, Urology, Orthopaedics, Spinal surgery, Neurosurgery and Thoracics. Patients will be cared for at a higher level of care, 1.5, with staff caring for 2 patients each. This unit will have input from a variety of members from the Multi-Disciplinary team including Dietitians, Physiotherapists, Acute Pain Specialist Nurses, CCOT and Critical Care Pharmacists.

We are recruiting knowledgeable and compassionate registered staff to create a team that is dynamic and forward thinking who will have a multitude of skills we require to deliver holistic, safe and excellent patient care at a higher acuity level.

Working in EPOC will give you an opportunity to develop your skills around pre and post-operative care, wound and drain management, acute pain and epidural management.

We believe in support and development of all our staff. If you are successful in your recruitment, we will offer an individualised training and support package and you will go on a local, surgical and corporate induction programme with opportunities to go on a pain management course, spinal cord injury course, tissue viability and wound management course, supervisor training, link role training and the opportunity to join our already established Shared Governance council.
