The post holder will oversee the admin team, and provide support to and be integral to the senior management team across the whole service. It is essential that the post holder has leadership experience of overseeing a team aswell as experience in staff management. They willprovide a high quality, efficient and comprehensive administrative servicei.e. referrals, letter typing, waiting lists management, report writing, data extraction and interpretation, overseeing stock requirements, invoice management and general office administration. Service Desk Engineer - 2nd line

Up to £43,000 plus shift allowance and excellent benefits

This is an office based role in Milton Keynes.

Shifts are 4 on 4 off: 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am. (This is likely to be a pattern of days, days, nights)

As Service Desk Engineer, You will be part of our clients UK Technical Services Team and will be responding to a variety of incidents and service requests across Storage, Network, Virtualisation, Backup, DR and Microsoft technologies.

A true Generalist role, this will predominantly be 2nd line activities, however, is still very much a client facing

role, responding to system events, availability and capacity issues in addition to troubleshooting and problem solving of incidents raised by external customers.

Ability to communicate effectively with clients and manage technical queries and events in line with customer

specific SLA/KPI's is essential. Working as part of a multi-disciplined team with both vendor and structured

training provided with the objective of holding the following vendor certifications (CCNA/VCP/NCDA) in first 12

months.

As Technical Services Engineer, some of your duties will include:

• Monitor, Categorise, set priority of incoming tickets (incident, problem, request)
• Manage your daily schedule by working through service dashboards and prioritising tickets
• Event Monitoring and perform initial triage on Network, Compute, Storage, VMware, Backup & DR infrastructure
• Communication with customers as required; keeping them informed
• Identify trending and patterns to initiate Problem Management
• Support of Internal IT onboarding

What are we looking for?

• MSP experience in a technical support or similar role.
• Good knowledge of VMware/Horizon/VDI or equivalent
• Familiar with all Microsoft technologies - Desktop OS, Server OS, Hyper-V, Active Directory, Exchange Background in Cloud technologies - Azure, Microsoft 365, AWS
• Experience of working within a Managed Services environment or a similarly structured (ITIL) based organisation.
• One of CCNA, VCP, NCDA is desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Can do attitude and willingness to collaborate; team player mindset.

The post holder will: under the supervision/direction of registered health care professionals/associate practitioner, within a delegated framework for agreed tasks, seek support as and when necessary, in the delivery of psychological and physical care to a defined group of people. Be required to concentrate for periods of time, depending upon the care intervention/care plan eg, following the observation policy, taking, recording of physical observations etc, and responding to issues of concern appropriately. This may include areas of work requiring physical effort, with regard to risk, health & safety. Exercise a degree of independence, initiative and judgement and consider different approaches when delivering tasks. Assess situations, identify and resolve potential problems, within own levels of competence. Ensure the care experienced is positive and service user safety is maintained. Treat everyone eg, service users, their relatives, visitors, colleagues etc, with respect, dignity, courtesy and in accordance with the Trusts Values. Contribute to the care planning process. Understand the principles underlying care planning eg, enabling the service user to reach an optimum level of functioning/ independence/recovery. Implement care within well-established policies, procedures, protocols, guidelines and established clinical care plans. Organise a range of activities eg, facilitate meaningful activities for individuals or small groups. Apply knowledge of longer term health conditions eg, Diabetes, Obesity, smoking cessation etc, providing advice and support. Undertake the physical aspects of care eg, moving and handling of service users. Use items of equipment in delivering care eg, hoists, wheelchairs etc. (as appropriate to the role), ensuring appropriate instruction on their use has been received. Assist in dealing with verbal/physical aggression using de-escalation techniques, this may include the need for restraint and/or seclusion (as appropriate to the role). Attend to the service users personal care needs as required. Participate in a flexible rostering arrangement providing 24-hour/7 day care (as appropriate to the role).

To assist registered nurses the delivery of planned health care within the dialysis unit. The band 2 clinical support worker will under the direct supervision of a registered nurse in assisting the meeting the physical, psychological and social needs of the patients receiving heamodialysis treatment. They will follow a structured training programme under supervision of a mentor to complete demonstrate competence.
