The post holder will work towards gaining ACP accreditation and once able apply advanced clinical expertise, levels of judgement, discretion and decision making within the face to face element of the hospital at home service. You will know what good record keeping looks like and be able to manage your time effectively. Job Details

• M needs 24/7 help to meet his needs, so you’ll take your turn with your team working on a rota. Shifts available include days, evenings, weekends, bank holidays or waking nights. You may also be required to do sleep ins in which an enhancement will be paid.
• You’ll work primarily with M in his own home in Broadstairs, as well as supporting him in the community. But there may be opportunities to work with our other customers in Kent.
• We’ll make sure you have a fantastic induction with ongoing learning support.

We are recruiting for a fixed term or secondment Maternity Pelvic Health Support Worker & Administration Assistant who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust Maternity department have begun offering a Perinatal Pelvic Health Service to support a national drive to improve the care of ‘mild to moderate’ pelvic floor dysfunction throughout the perinatal period.

All patients who book in their pregnancy journey at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust will be asked about their pelvic health. Patients who disclose pelvic floor weakness leading to urinary or faecal incontinence will be offered enhanced support to manage and improve their pelvic floor function through referral to the specialist pelvic health service.

The Maternity Pelvic Health Support Worker will work closely with the Specialist Perinatal Pelvic Health Midwife and Physiotherapist, to deliver and continually develop the pelvic health service and provide administrative support to the team in the management of referrals, appointments and data collection.
