As a ASOC Interface & Procedural Control Instructor, GS-2101-11 you will:

Perform the full range of WG-5823-10 duties and responsibilities. Possess the knowledge and skills found at the journey level as well as those required for planning, accomplishing, and maintaining a functional shop maintenance program.

Plan and lay out work to be accomplished in the shop, which is then completed by the incumbent and lower graded mechanic(s). Independently determine appropriate maintenance procedures such as how and when the work should be accomplished. Estimate manpower, equipment and material requirements. Devise and maintain all program plans and records, skilled in surveillance and troubleshooting techniques, and is able to determine maintenance/repair procedures needed without benefit of technical supervisory guidance. Plan, organize and direct shop maintenance programs/procedures under general supervision. Determine approach, methods and courses of action required to accomplish the mission of the shop in an effective and efficient manner.

May provide recommendations and input to the supervisor concerning personnel actions such as performance appraisals, awards, position descriptions changes, disciplinary actions, leave, etc. Implement safety regulatory requirements. Ensure that other workers in the shop wear appropriate safety equipment and follow pertinent safety precautions.

This position is within the Legal Training Division (LGD), Office of Chief Counsel (OCC), under the Director's Office and located in Glynco, Georgia. The position is responsible for the quantity, quality, and content of work in legal training of federal law enforcement officers. Receives direct supervision from the Chief Counsel.

As a Supervisory Attorney Adviser (Instructor), GS-0905-15, your typical work assignments include:

• Developing and implementing procedures and internal controls and managing the assignment of work and personnel to ensure equitable utilization of resources and distribution of work.
• Assigning course development responsibilities, reviewing material prepared, monitoring classes presented, and critiquing performance.
• Ensuring adequacy of training and taking whatever steps are necessary to ensure that course material presented is accurate, timely, and designed to meet course objectives.

As a Supervisory Contract Specialist, GS-1102-14, makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) team and mission. This position is within the Procurement Division (PRO) under the Mission and Readiness Support Directorate (MRSD) of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC).The primary purpose of the position is to plan, negotiate and manage, as branch chief and contracting officer, the procurement of a wide variety of complex services, supplies, IT, construction, A-E, lease agreements, and training equipment.

Typical duties include:

• Supervising a subordinate staff, approving travel and training requests, preparing requests for staffing needs for replacement personnel and position descriptions. Also resolving grievances and complaints.
