This is an exciting new opportunity to improve the quality in learning disability inpatient services and inpatient care for autistic people across Cheshire and Merseyside.
We would welcome candidates who have experience of working or commissioning this type of provision, who understand the needs of autistic people and people with a learning disability, and the strategic landscape, including the extensive work that is involved in the Transforming Care Programme.
Fixed term: 12 months.
The Post holder is key to the success of the Inpatient Quality Transformation Programme in Cheshire and Merseyside, through supporting the redesign of inpatient provision for people with learning disabilities and autistic people, to improve quality and ensure best use of resource.
The successful candidate will need to work in collaboration with all stakeholders, support the collation and analysis of data, including on demand, capacity, activity and cost, and use their analytical skills to identify and communicate gaps in current provision, and develop plans to address these.
A key part of the role will be to translate key pieces of national policy and strategy into practice and support services to implement and embed in local practice as appropriate.
The post-holder will need to ensure that all of the work is co-produced and co-delivered and a range of lived experience voices are embedded throughout. Therefore the ability to form strong, supportive and effective working relationships with partners is essential.
CWP provides health and care services for local people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care – including the provision of three GP surgeries.
