A*STAR is spearheading a series of Strategic Research & Translational Thrusts (SRTT) that harnesses its multidisciplinary expertise to undertake a focused research mission. Responsibilities & Duties

• Support the overall administration, office management and operations of SRTTs, including research admin support (e.g., support Project Investigators (PI) in grant administration and reporting, ethics review, research software support, scientific advisory panel meeting logistics, etc.)
• Provide corporate and business service support to SRTTs, working with Corporate Group (CG) and Space, Infrastructure and Admin (SpIA) Partners and Research Institute (RI) admin teams.

Centre for Lifelong Learning and Individualised Cognition CLIC is a research collaboration between the University of Cambridge and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and hosted by the Cambridge Centre for Advanced Research and Education in Singapore (CARES) that aims to develop neuroscience-based interventions for lifelong flexible learning. Launched in October 2020 and funded by the National Research Foundation Singapore, CLIC brings together a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, neuroscientists, linguists and educators who conduct innovative research in the science of learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• To support CLIC Directors Prof Zoe Kourtzi (University of Cambridge) and Prof Annabel Chen (Nanyang Technological University) in providing leadership and day-to-day management of all CLIC research activities.

Hosted at the Singapore National Research Foundations Campus for Research Excellence and Technological Enterprise (CREATE) and located at the National University of Singapore UTown Campus, Imperial Global Singapore provides the physical and administrative infrastructure to extend Imperial’s research and innovation activities to Singapore and broader South East Asia. CREATE hosts interdisciplinary research centres from top global universities including other key strategic partners including CNRS, MIT, and TU Munich.

The Associate Director, Imperial Global Singapore works as part of the Imperial Global Singapore leadership team (with the Academic Director) to ensure the strategic development and operational effectiveness of the research and innovation centre in Singapore.

The post-holder will play a key role in developing Imperial Global Singapore as a regional hub for high impact partnerships covering research, education and innovation. This will involve representing Imperial within Singapore and the wider region, including engagement with alumni, advancement prospects, industry, government, and third-sector partners to forward Imperial’s strategic goals.
