Your New Role:
We are currently looking to appoint a new Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our amazing team at our unique outdoor setting to students aged 11-19 in our growing Leicestershire setting on a full time, permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing proactive support in lessons and, where needed, taking instruction from the subject teacher to best progress the academic achievement of the students within the session. Outdoor learning is central in our provisions. The appointed candidate will need to be an advocate of outdoor learning, incorporating this into as many lessons as possible. Social Care & Education are looking for a Nursery Practioner to work within a well-established nursery based in Leicester. You will be working as part of a friendly team in providing a safe environment for babies and young children to learn and develop.
The Job Role |
• To record children’s progress though out the day
• Build and maintain relationships with parents/carers and staff
• Provide support to all other nursery staff and management
• Adhere to the nursery’s policies and procedures
• Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and hygiene at all times
• Create imaginative, fun and educational activities for all children
Personal Specification
• You must be qualified in Early Years at Level 2 or 3
• Sound working knowledge of EYFS is essential
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong partnerships with parents/carers
• Outstanding knowledge and understanding of how babies and young children learn
• Support and work well with other staff at the Nursery
• You must be prepared to support where needed for example preparation of snacks, cleaning.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the automotive and engineering provision at the Stephenson Campus for a Technical Training Assistant and Area Co-ordinator. The role will expect you to lead by example in carrying out workshop duties efficiently, demonstrating high levels of health and safety is implemented and sustained ensuring a safe place of work whilst supporting staff and students during the delivery of practical sessions. Support for staff and students is critically important for excellent teaching and learning to take place, ensuring we are in control of the repairs and the maintenance requirements of our resources to support teaching and learning also pivotal to the role.
You may currently be working in an engineering setting looking for a change in career and have a desire to share your knowledge with the next generation of engineering students. You will have a passion for the sector and have practical experience of operating within a workshop environment or running a workshop facility.
You will have an aptitude for accuracy, be able to maintain our superb workshop facilities and contribute to the continued improvement of the automotive and engineering programmes to achieve the best outcomes for students and stakeholders.
We hope to add value to our team during this process taking on a person with a passion to share their motor vehicle knowledge and experience with others, who have worked in the service and repair sector throughout their careers and who would like to support the SMB Groups engineering provision.
