Initially the scope of practice for the post holder would be to manage the treatment of ADHD. This may be extended to other diagnoses based on education, training, development and achievement of competence, as well as the clinical caseload and mix of the team. To undertake all relevant physical health monitoring associated with ADHD treatment e.g. weight, blood pressure and pulse. This may be extended to patients not on the pharmacist caseload. To modify the treatment plan with respect to drug therapy once trained in diagnostic tools for ADHD management (and other diagnoses where appropriate). To act as a core member of the multidisciplinary team, attending medical reviews and other clinical case review sessions across a geographical area. This will include partaking in multidisciplinary review of new referrals and actively advising on medicines-related issues to ensure the most appropriate management of caseload by the team. Where appropriate, referrals requiring only advice directly back to GPs may be undertaken. To provide specialist education and training to consultants, other prescribers, other health care professionals, clients, relatives and carers. The post holder will support the implementation of the shared care pathway for service users with ADHD across primary and secondary care. To plan and carry out audits that evaluate medicines use, the medicines management process, the operation of policies and procedures relating to medicines and risk management processes in the Trust, including national audits e.g. POMH-UK. This will include ensuring that all audit action plans are tracked to completion.

This role will require you to travel between community locations, you must therefore be comfortable with driving for work purposes and able to travel freely within the hours of the role. Pharmacy Retail Stock Assistant

Salary: £12.94 per hour inclusive of holiday pay (£11.55 per hour + £1.39 holiday pay)

We are currently looking for a motivated, professional, and flexible individual able to work 5 days a week, Monday to Friday day shifts, within a small stock count team, counting our Pharmacy Clients.

In this role, you are required to accurately count stock for Retail & Asset Solutions in various high street Pharmacies, this role is extremely important to ensure pharmacies are fully stocked with the medication required for local Doctors and Hospitals.

Please note all training is provided upon your first shift.

Previous stock, audit or retail experience is advantageous but not essential.

The College actively engages with the Education & Training Foundation's Taking Teaching Further scheme to recruit industry professionals to teach within Further Education.

As industry professionals offer our students industry experience and insight we support our unqualified teachers to learn 'on the job'. You will be given full support throughout your development to fully qualified teacher status. Whilst in employment you would be enrolled onto the Level 3 Award in Education and Training. After completion you can choose to move be onto our Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training qualification. Provide professional clinical leadership, working in collaboration with the appropriate multidisciplinary groups to meet the physical health needs of patients within the adult and older adult inpatient wards. Provide specialist evidenced based knowledge and clinical skills to the staff and patients within the service to ensure that the physical health and well-being needs of individuals is met. Lead on the strategic development and delivery of health promotion and physical health care within the service. Develop and deliver, alongside the clinical practice educators, training on physical health and health promotion to clinicians within the service as required. Develop and maintain good links with other services, such as physiotherapy as required. Work collaboratively with other clinical nurse leads for physical health within the trust. Contribute to advanced practice initiatives in nursing by contributing to education and training with links with the learning and development department and higher education establishments. Provide professional and managerial supervision to other physical health nursing roles and managerial supervision to other health professionals working within the physical health team. Provide leadership to a team of physical health leads within each ward. Lead on clinical audit in relation to physical health. Contribute to research as required. Give advice, guidance and provide interventions for patients with complex physical health needs. Provide assurance that patients in the service have equitable access to NHS screening progress as those in the community.

The role

As a Functional Assessor, your main task will be to assess individuals and how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life. Drawing on your clinical expertise, you'll listen carefully and take down each person's medical history before performing a physical examination. You'll then produce concise, accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP) so they can decide each person's eligibility for benefits.

The role involves meeting people both face-to-face and via telephone/video. But whether you connect online or in person, you'll be sensitive, compassionate and able to ask the right questions while upholding best practice standards.

Rest assured that you'll have the time you need to make a precise assessment and give each person your whole attention. And while you'll work unsupervised, you'll be part of a wider multi-disciplinary team - support is all part of the package.
