We work alongside Nurse Specialists for Children in Care, Autism, Epilepsy and Bladder and Bowel Health. We also work very closely with the Children’s Community Nursing team and allied health professionals including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Dieticians.

This is a fixed term post with the following aims
• Support the current clinical team in delivering regular clinics for Initial Health Assessments (IHA’s) for Children in Care.
• Provide regular clinics for the assessment and management of children referred to the bowel and bladder team, working alongside medical and nursing staff to help meet the increasing demand on the service
• To support the wider work of the community paediatric department, contributing to some developmental assessments, focusing on assessing children referred with different developmental conditions and those in particular who are not likely to require long-term follow-up
