Key Responsibilities: As a senior leader working in partnership with schools and the wider community, supporting children and young people experiencing mild to moderate emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties and their families in the self-management of presenting difficulties To take the lead in any complex relationships or system issues with our partnership with Education and working within the wider mental health sector. • To participate in the Set-Up of new clinical trials opened at MTW Trust.

• To dispense clinical trial medication in accordance with departmental SOPs and clinical trial regulations.

• To receive clinical trial drug deliveries in accordance with departmental and clinical trial specific SOPs. To ensure that stock received is correct, the correct paperwork has been received as outlined in the delivery note or trial specific SOP. • Undertaking regular stock checks and ordering trial stock using trial specific documentation where appropriate.

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit an NMC Registered Nurse Associate to join the existing team based at Maidstone. This is a seven-day service, working between 08:00 and 16:00, with a late shift of 10:00 – 18:00 on a rotational basis.
The team support patients from GP practices within the Maidstone ABC Primary Care Network (PCN).
The teams provide nursing care to predominantly housebound patients in the Maidstone town centre area. Each team takes responsibility for a defined geographical patch, which allows good working relationships with local GPs, care homes, Social Services, voluntary organisations and other stakeholders.

The District Nursing Service also provides local clinics for patients requiring their clinical skills. We believe the addition of the new Nursing Associate role will complement the current skill-mix for providing nursing care within a community setting.
This is a highly rewarding role, and nurses are supported to achieve all the clinical skills required for the role.
Clinical areas will include wound management care, end of life care, medicines administrations and bladder and bowel care, amongst other duties.

We are looking for a Band 6 nurse to join one of our Community Nursing teams based in ABC PCN (Maidstone), to support the development of this service. The service operates seven days a week from 08:00 - 16:00, with occasional late shifts of 10:00 – 18:00 on a rotational basis. Weekend working is generally on a 1:4 ratio with days off during the week.
The team support patients registered with GP practices working in the Maidstone town and outlying villages within the ABC Primary Care Network.
Each team has two senior nurses to take responsibility for a defined geographical area, and provide clinical leadership to their Band 5, Band 4 and Band 3 staff. The team will work together to manage caseload patients delivering a high-quality service.

Staff will be required to drive their own car and are able to claim mileage costs and access the NHS car lease provision, following their probationary period.

Using the named nurse model, we want to allow nurses to spend more time with patients, promoting self-management where possible, and improving patient lives.

You will develop new skills and knowledge whilst working with an established team, gaining valuable work experience and continuing to get paid. Recording and reporting accurately any changes related to the patients current behaviour and/or risks to Nurse/healthcare professional in Charge in a timely manner. Recording care given and reporting omissions accurately and in a timely manner. Supporting and carrying out therapeutic observations as required and instructed.
