Main duties of the job Carry out health assessments on newly registered patients e.g. taking bloods, testing urine, blood pressure checks, heights, and weights and taking a simple written medical history. Ensure that the clinical rooms are at all times kept in a clean and orderly manner and that relevant equipment is ready for use by nursing and medical staff during clinic sessions. Ensure that the drug fridge is at a correct temperature on a daily basis Provide phlebotomy services as requested by nursing and medical staff. Carry out blood pressure checks and report promptly abnormal findings to the nurse/ doctor as per protocol. Carry out lifestyle advice to patients as requested, follow up as appropriate. Carry out partial chronic disease management reviews. Administer Immunisations according to PGDs. Carry out ECGs. Carry out NHS Health checks & Carer Health checks. 24 hour BP ON/OFF. INR Testing. Pill Checks. Foot Checks. Attend MDT Meetings Achieve QOF and IIF Targets
