The VISN Clinical Resource Hub (CRH) Primary Care Physician position is a VISN based position located in VISN 20. The job would be based within the care of the elderly team.

The orthopaedic care at FGH is provided on ward 2- a 24 bedded ward. Patients are admitted and remain under the care of the orthopaedic team with input from the orthogeriatric service which comprises a specialty doctor and nurse practitioner. The post holder would be expected to review patients with fractured neck of femur and organise a medical plan for their care as well as liaise with orthopaedic colleagues and anaesthetic staff.

Communication with family members would be a significant part of the role as well as understanding of frailty and post operative complications in elderly patients.

The incumbent of this position serves as a Budget Analyst with responsibility for performing routine budget analysis functions in assigned areas. The incumbent participates in funds control supporting the Budget Manager in the formulation, presentation, and execution of the organization's budget. Work may be performed in any segment of the normal range of budget administration work performed by the organization, including budget formulation, budget presentation-enactment, or budget execution. The incumbent prepares funding requests relating to budgetary allowances, intra-departmental delegation of authority and interagency transfer requests in accordance with pertinent laws and regulations.

Starting at $62,107 Per Year (GS 11-12)

• Develops technical reports, briefings, review documentation, and/or other products that reflect expertise in veterinary medicine and/or related fields.
• Ensures veterinary-related research/review activities are aligned with applicable laws, regulations, policies, regulatory programs, and precedents.
• Gathers, assimilates, and synthesizes information to assist in the analysis and interpretation of data to determine the safety and effectiveness of animal drugs, animal foods, medicated feeds, and devices.
• Reviews and analyzes the content and meaning of labeling and advertisements for animal drugs, medicated feeds, and devices to ensure they are complete, accurate, and reflect current standards and regulations.
