The Vaccines Health and Science Professional (HSP) is responsible for the promotion of a Vaccines Portfolio across customers and channels.  This position will require regular live in field customer engagement in addition to virtual engagements.     
    
The HSP is accountable for launching new products, deciding upon the best strategies to manage business relationships, understanding, and securing formulary access, and engaging in product promotion within the assigned geography. In addition, the HSP is charged with sales efforts and relationship development with customers and accounts, including Therapeutic Area Specialists, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

Staff Registered Nurse

As a key member of our hemodialysis team this professional will manage our Patient Care Technicians in providing safe effective delivery of chronic hemodialysis therapy. Delegating tasks training and monitoring all direct-patient staff including LVNs/LPNs and Dialysis Assistants this individual will assess care needs and develop assignments.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Functions as part of the hemodialysis health care team as a Staff Registered Nurse to ensure provision of quality patient care on a daily basis in accordance with FMS policies procedures and training. Supports the FMCNA's mission vision values and customer service philosophy.  Supports the FMCNA commitment to the Quality Enhancement Program (QEP) and CQI Activities including those related to patient satisfaction and actively participates in process improvement activities that enhance the likelihood that patients will achieve the FMCNA Quality Enhancement Goals (QEP).  Adheres to all requirements of the FMCNA Compliance Program and FMS patient care and administrative policies.

DUTIES / ACTIVITIES:

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

• Responsible for driving the FMS culture though values and customer service standards.

• Delegates tasks to all direct patient care staff including but not limited to LVN/LPNs Patient Care Technicians and Dialysis Assistants.  
• Assesses daily patient care needs and develops appropriate patient care assignments.
• Routinely monitors patient care staff for appropriate techniques and adherence to facility policy and procedures.
• Participates in staff training and orientation of new staff as assigned
• Participates in all required staff meetings as scheduled.

PATIENT RELATED:

Education:

• Ensures educational needs of patients and family are met regarding End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD).
• Provides ongoing education to patients regarding their renal disease vascular access and dialysis therapy and other related health conditions.
• Discusses with patient and records education related to diet/fluid and medication compliance. 
• Provides patient specific detailed education regarding adequacy measures where applicable - Online Clearance Monitoring (OLC) Adequacy Monitoring Program (AMP) Urea Kinetic Modeling (UKM).
• Ensures transplant awareness modality awareness and drive catheter reduction. 
• Educates patients regarding laboratory values and the relationship to adequate dialysis therapy compliance with treatment schedule medications and fluid.

Dialysis Treatment:

• Provides safe and effective delivery of care to patients with ESRD.
• Accurately implements treatment prescriptions including Sodium (Na) modeling prescription and Ultrafiltration modeling (where appropriate) to ensure stable treatment therapy as indicated.
• Assesses patients' response to hemodialysis treatment therapy making appropriate adjustments and modifications to the treatment plan as indicated by the prescribing physician. Communicates problems or concerns to the Team Leader or physician.
• Identifies and communicates patient related issues to Team Leader or physician.
• Initiates Initial and Annual Nursing Assessment and ongoing evaluation and documentation of patient care needs according to FMC Policies and Procedures.
• Actively participates in the pre evaluation initiation monitoring termination access homeostasis and post evaluation of patients receiving hemodialysis treatment therapy according to established FMC procedures.
• Takes appropriate intervention for changes in patient adequacy status and troubleshooting access flow issues as identified by OLC/AMP yellow lights.
• Provides supervises (if applicable) and monitors hemodialysis access care according to established procedures.
• Implements administers monitors and documents patient's response to prescribed interdialytic transfusions including appropriate notification of adverse reactions to physician and appropriate blood supplier.
• Ensures accurate and complete documentation by Patient Care Technician on the Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet.

Laboratory-related:

• Reviews transcribes and enters physician lab orders accurately into the Medical Information System.
• Ensures appropriate preparation of lab requisitions for Spectra or alternate lab.
• Ensures correct labs tubes are utilized for prescribed lab specimens and that lab draw and processing procedures are performed appropriately for all lab samples.
• Identifies and ensures appropriate follow-through regarding missed labs and specimens reported to be insufficient according to company policies and procedures.
• Ensures all specimens are appropriately packaged according to Department of Transportation (DOT) policies and procedures relating to shipment of blood or body fluid specimens and potentially hazardous material.
• Ensures that all labs are directed and delivered to appropriate labs.
• Reports alert/panic and abnormal labs results to appropriate physician.
• Ensures lab results are forwarded to physicians as requested.

MAINTENANCE/TECHNICAL:

• Ensures a clean safe and sanitary environment in the dialysis facility treatment area.
• Ensures competency in the operation of all dialysis-related equipment safely and effectively.
• Ensures all patient stations including machines and chairs are clean and free of blood and placed appropriately.
• Ensures that all blood spills are immediately addressed according to FMCNA Bloodborne Pathogen Control Policies.

MEDICAL RECORDS & DOCUMENTATION:

General

• Ensures all relevant data including physician orders lab results vital signs and treatment parameters and patient status are documented appropriately and entered into Medical Information System.
• Ensures all appropriate patient related treatment data is entered into the Medical Information System.
• Ensures all FMCNA policies regarding patient admission transfer and discharge are appropriately implemented.
• Ensures and verify accuracy of Patient Care Technician documentation.

Daily

• Reviews and ensures appropriate daily completion of Hemodialysis Treatment Sheets by all patient care staff.
• Ensures that all appropriate procedures are followed regarding opening and closing procedures inclusive of monitoring that all staff and patients have safely left the premises.

Monthly

• Initiates documents and completes ongoing Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities including monthly reports.
• Completes monthly nurses' progress note.
• Ensures patient medical records are complete with appropriate information documentation and identification on each page (Addressograph label is on all chart forms). 
• Reviews transplant status and follows established procedure regarding appropriate action to be taken.
• Completes patient care plans for new patients within the initial 30 days or any patients deemed unstable requiring monthly patient care plans.
• Completes any long-term programs that are due.

Annually

• Completes initial and annual Nursing History and Assessment physical. 
• Ensures completion of Annual Standing Order Review with each physician as required.

The professional registered nurse Inpatient Services RN CAP 1 is an entry level designation into the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP).  This position is accountable and responsible for the provision and coordination of clinically competent care including assessment planning intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients. This may include delegation of appropriate tasks to direct patient care staff including but not limited to RNs LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians. As a member of the kidney disease health care team this position participates in decision-making teaching leadership functions and quality improvement activities that enhance patient care outcomes and program operations. 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

All duties and responsibilities are expected to be performed in accordance with Fresenius Kidney Care policy procedures standards of nursing practice applicable contractual service agreements state and federal regulations.

• Performs all essential functions under the direction of the Supervisor and with guidance from the Educator Preceptor or in collaboration with another Registered Nurse.
• Performs ongoing systematic collection and analysis of patient data pre – during – post treatment for assigned patients and documents in the patient medical record makes adjustments and modifications to treatment plan as indicated and notifies Supervisor Physician patient’s primary nurse and others as may be indicated.
• Assesses collaborates and documents patient/family’s basic learning needs to provide initial and ongoing education to patients and family.
• Recognizes aspects and implications of patient status that vary from normal and reports to or collaborates with appropriate health team members for input including but not limited to Supervisor appropriate physician and the contracted facility primary Nurse.
• Directs and provides safe effective patient care for assigned patients as prescribed for all modality specific treatment procedures.
• Assesses daily assigned patient care needs and collaborates with direct and ancillary patient care staff as needed.
• Initiates and coordinates communication with FKC and Non-FKC dialysis providers and appropriate contracted facility personnel as needed to provide continuity of patient care. 
• Performs the implementation administration monitoring and documentation of patient's response to prescribed intradialytic transfusions including appropriate notification of adverse reactions to physician and appropriate blood supplier.
• Administers medications as prescribed and documents appropriate medical justification and effectiveness.
• Initiates and assists with emergency response measures.
• Serves as a resource for health care team participates in staff training and orientation of new staff as assigned.
• May be asked to provide specialized nursing care instruction to hospital/facility staff as stipulated contractually.
• May be assigned to assist in an Outpatient facility on an as needed basis.   
• Required to complete CAP requirements to advance.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

•  Must have a minimum of 9 months experience as a RN.
•  6 months experience in acute dialysis as a RN.

EDUCATION and LICENSURE:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification
• Must meet the practice requirements in all states in which he or she is employed.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

PURPOSE AND SCOPE: 

The Patient Service Coordinator functions as the primary contact for FreseniusRx customers/patients placing the orders for the patient, collaborating and communicating with other departments to ensure unimpeded resolution of customer/patient issues and special projects. The incumbent ensures that patient pharmacy needs are fulfilled in a timely, accurate, and service oriented manner and handles refill orders and transfers incoming calls to specialized departments.   

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Act as the primary liaison between the FreseniusRx customer and all FreseniusRx departments collaborating with department personnel such as the Prescription Specialists and Pharmacists to ensure that all the patient’s questions and prescription needs are met. Transfer calls to specialized departments, as necessary.
• Initiate communication with customers/patients by phone to set up new or existing prescription orders.
• Field incoming calls from customer/patients on a daily basis.
• Contact the pertinent customers/patients on a monthly basis to confirm current prescriptions, changes in prescriptions, or any additional prescriptions.
• Review patient’s medication needs and advises of early/late refills due in Pharmacy Management System (per prescriptions from physicians).
• Inform customer of any changes or delays in their order due to product shortages, product changes, recalls, or backordered and discontinued products.
• Determine the best delivery method based on the customer “remaining days” supply, delivery location, cost, and product stability.
• Resolve all order discrepancies interfacing with the appropriate FreseniusRx departments to ensure resolution.
• Update Pharmacy Management System patient/customer records with all appropriate and necessary documentation.
• Responsible for Medication Profiles and entering and completing enrollment forms.
• Review medication shipment activity and recommends inactivation when indicated.
• Ensure prescription validity with the patient.
• Print medication summary profile in the Pharmacy Management System database for customers, upon request.
• Serve as the liaison between patients and FreseniusRx regarding all service related issues.
• Research, investigate, and resolve order delivery issues. Verifies correct information and obtains input from appropriate team or individual for prompt resolution.
• Initiate discussion with patients, as necessary, regarding accounts receivable balances if status jeopardizes service delivery.
• Direct appropriate questions to specific team or individual. Escalates complex issues to supervisor as necessary.
• Educate patients regarding FreseniusRx services and procedures to appropriately set expectations and ensure a positive patient experience.
• Adhere to and maintains all compliance and regulatory requirements.
• If related certification such as Pharmacy Technician Certification is obtained, may assist Pharmacists with dispensing, as necessary, and in accordance the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy Regulations.
• Make suggestions to enhance processes.
• Review and comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state and federal laws and regulations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree with 0-3 years of relevant experience; OR an Associate's degree with four years of relevant experience; OR Six years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Articulate the features and benefits of the Purewick system including knowledge of all aspects of use and maintenance of the equipment.  

• Complete initial and follow-up calls on prospective leads via inbound and outbound calls/dialer to include identifying and resolving customer concerns within the process  

• Maintain departmental call volume requirements to include inbound and outbound calls  

• Maintain a high level of professionalism on every call and provide excellent customer service to all Liberator Customers.

• Meet or exceed monthly departmental sales goals as established by Sales Ops management.

• Adhere to phone activity/compliance standards to include Medicare guidelines, HIPAA, ACW, and minimum call volumes.

To be successful in this role, you require:

• 1+ years medical industry, sales, collections or call center/customer service experience

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical supply publications, technical procedures, and/or training tools.

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications

• Ability to work some evening shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed

ROLE SUMMARY

The Oncology Diagnostic Liaison has a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact in patient lives. Under general direction of the Pfizer Oncology Commercial Diagnostics Leader, he/she will plan and execute all aspects of the organization’s Pathology / Diagnostic Market and Access strategy. This position will have a great deal of autonomy and the candidate must be self-driven to deliver results. The primary responsibility for this role will be to liaise with pathology groups, diagnostic groups, and key stakeholders of reference laboratories to build a core diagnostic foundation for our current and future pipeline products. The Oncology Diagnostic Liaison will report to the Commercial Diagnostics Leader.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Under the general direction of the Pfizer Oncology Commercial Diagnostics Leader, plan and execute all aspects of the organization’s Pathology / Diagnostic Market and Access strategy for the assigned region.
• Develop key messaging and education tactics within the assigned region to positively impact pathology targets.
• Be the primary liaison with regional pathology groups, diagnostic groups and key stakeholders of reference laboratories and key institutional accounts to build and maintain a core diagnostic foundation for current and future pipeline products.
• Educate pathologists on new therapy driven emerging biomarkers of interest and utility of said biomarkers (pre and post approval)
• Proactively and independently establish laboratory relationships and connections within the regional pathology and oncologist community to increase understanding of ordering the right test, at the right time, with the right key protocols in place for better patient identification and diagnosis.
• Attend diagnostic advisory boards and pathology related congresses as needed to network, influence, and generally increase awareness and understanding of diagnostic testing in relation to the therapeutic products offered by Pfizer Oncology.
• Actively monitor the latest developments within the therapeutic area and be able to effectively discuss all aspects of the patient biopsy, tissue journey, and the technical challenges along the tumor and patient diagnosis.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of industry experience
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Experience working with and training pathologists on new emerging data and information concerning accurate IHC testing and reporting.
• Must have deep laboratory experience or an understanding of the flow of work within an academic / community institution, as well as national/regional reference labs.
• Must be able to develop and execute a territory/regional plan of action to impact pathology targets and drive education with key messaging within assigned territory/region.
• Must have experience presenting and articulating educational and complex information to key stakeholders / decision makers, including but not limited to pathologists, oncologists, lab techs, c-suite executives, etc.
• Passionate about making a difference for oncology patients.

• A basic understanding of hospital EMRs flow of work and Laboratory LIS preferred.
• Understanding of testing methodologies with IHC, FLOW, FISH, PCR, and NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) preferred
• Pharmaceutical experience in oncology preferred.
• Scientific Advanced Degree Preferred

Reporting to the Customer Insights Lead, the person in this role will lead a team responsible for all global market research efforts for pipeline oncology assets by providing unbiased, objective, in-depth insights to inform business decisions, including tumor strategies and pivotal go/no-go decisions.

The Director will provide strategic oversight of multiple oncology pipeline assets and is a thought partner to cross-functional leadership teams, including leaders of Commercial Strategy and Innovation, Medical Affairs, Program Leadership, Clinical Development, Global Market Insights, Global Value and Access and others. Through primary and secondary market research and analysis, she/he will provide guidance to her/his team to support the full spectrum of insights and research needs of the organization and works to embed an external market point-of-view into the strategic direction of portfolio oncology pipeline prioritization and planning.

This role is dynamic, fast-paced, highly collaborative, and covers a broad range of strategic topics that are critical to our business. The successful candidate will join Customer Insights colleagues that are constantly helping drive the business through proactive thought leadership, innovative research capabilities, and the ability to communicate complex and dynamic information in new and creative ways.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Market Research

• Lead with a strong understanding of all types of primary market research techniques, both qualitative and quantitative, to fulfill organizational insight needs:

• Formulate business questions, design research to answer them, and collect and assess data.
• Identify implications, develop presentations with clear story lines, integrating new data and existing team knowledge and communicating key insights and recommendations.
• Effectively present insights to various stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other insights and analytics leaders to help synthesize all available information to produce a comprehensive point of view and deliver clear and actionable recommendations
• Experience with oncology secondary data sources (e.g. patient claims, EMR, sales, etc) to triangulate with market research information and inform opportunity assessment

• Support strategic decision making across functional areas.

• Work with across-functional leaders and stakeholders from a wide variety of functions, such as Commercial Strategy and Innovation, Clinical Development, Business Development, Medical Affairs, Research, Therapeutic Area teams, to understand strategic issues.
• Provide a holistic, objective and analytical viewpoint of the market opportunities through ongoing situation analysis and superb understanding of market dynamics, customer and stakeholder needs, and competitive activities.
• Drive strategic thinking and serve as a market insights leader to the US or Global product teams by answering key business questions to define commercial strategies and tactics and drive investment decisions

• Identify informational gaps within the Customer Insights team and cross-functional teams, and plan and coordinate efforts to address those gaps.  Project examples include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Evaluation of target product profiles through qualitative market research with physicians
• Quantitative market research to assess potential product market shares given current and future market dynamics
• Use of syndicated databases to assess market size, treatment patterns, and competitive landscape

• Lead dialogue with local and global analytical teams to adapt global strategies to the local markets.
• Experience and ability to work cross functionally with Legal, Compliance, and Drug Safety to ensure best practices are followed and audit preparedness as necessary.

Team Leadership

• Build, manage, coach a team of direct reports, prioritizing their focus and efforts on an ongoing basis to meet dynamic needs of the large organization, coordinating with internal stakeholders and corporate alliance partners, where applicable
• Contribute to the advancement of Customer Insights capabilities and seek to share knowledge and expertise with other colleagues.
• Lead alignment with other insights analytic functions to ensure cohesive activities with our stakeholders and facilitate best practice sharing.

Vendor/Offshore Resource Management

• Develop, commission and contract innovative complex and impactful research through preferred vendors
• Create and manage budgets associated with assigned activities
• Direct workload of flexible staffing resources and identify the need for changes in flexible resources
• Be accountable for continuous improvement, as well as the identification/ utilization of new capabilities to maximize the competitive advantages of the business
• Accountable for meeting compliance and Corporate SOP obligations of all Primary Market Research projects

REQUIRED BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of professional experience, with 7+ years in analytics or consulting roles
• Extensive experience and knowledge in quantitative and qualitative market research methodologies
• Understanding of pharmaceutical development and commercialization process, as well as industry competitive dynamics
• Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities under ambiguity and uncertainty, and act without having the total picture; outstanding project, budget and vendor management skills, and ability to solve operational problems.
• Demonstrated success defining business information and insight needs and translating those to specific deliverables; understanding of biopharmaceutical commercial market data sources
• Ability to assess and direct vendor technical capabilities and manage risks in the analytic process
• Ability to be flexible, prioritize multiple demands, deal with ambiguity, and lead teams through complex and challenging cross-functional projects
• Strong understanding of legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions, and pharma industry guidelines.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to hire and develop direct reports.
• Comfort with senior management and knowledge of senior management though processes; ability to speak their language and address their needs.
