Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in a multi-discipline environment
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for creating detailed technical drawings
• Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) would be preferrable
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and strong communication and teamwork abilities

Your new role
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee the maintenance team within our manufacturing plant. Your responsibilities will include scheduling and supervising maintenance activities, conducting regular inspections of machinery and equipment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You will also manage budgets, order supplies, and work closely with production managers to minimise downtime and optimise production processes.

Your new role
Hays are working with a financial services organisation in Central Bristol who are looking for a Finance Assistant on a temporary basis for 6 months. Hours are Monday to Friday (37.5 hours), paying £15.39 per hour + holiday. This role is hybrid working, 2 days a week from home. Main responsibilities of the role include:

• Responsible for Accounts Payable - good understanding of the purchase ledger process and procedures
• Responsible for credit control and all outstanding balances
• Carry out all administrative tasks as relevant in a timely manner

What you'll need to succeed

• Team player, customer focussed and able to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent organisational skills
• Attention to detail
• Microsoft packages - Excel (VLOOK ups, Pivot Tables), Word, Outlook
• Understanding of Workday is beneficial
