Warehouse Stock Auditor - Widnes - £22,405

The position

• This is a full time permanent position based at our customers distribution centre in Widnes
• Rate of pay: £22,405 per annum
• Weekly hours: 37.5 hours plus daily 30-min unpaid break
• Shift Patterns: 5 out of 7, Shifts between: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am +0.50p per hour night bonus

A day in the life of a Warehouse Stock Operative

As a Warehouse Stock Operative, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in what can be described as a fast-paced and target driven environment to ensure the stock entering or leaving the depot is accurate.

Our activities vary, so often, you may be required to work across multiple different workstreams such as Goods Inbound checks, Picker Accuracy audits and Load Adherence checks most of which require periods of manual handling.

Job activities

• Audit the Inbound accuracy of supplier deliveries on the GFR program.
• Audit Picker accuracy of stock destined for stores and fully investigate all errors found.
• Adhere to agreed audit and error verification procedures at all times.
• Maintain integrity at all times.
• Ensure the expected productivity levels are achieved, in line with customer expectations.
• Review daily targets in line with customer expectations.

A dynamic and vibrant accountancy firm are seeking to recruit a Client Accountant to join their growing team in Wilmslow. This firm is dedicated to delivering a full range of services to their clients. Their clients include sole traders, contractors, and SME's. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounts professional to join a supportive and growing firm which provides excellent development opportunities for their staff.


Your new role
As Client Accountant, you will manage a portfolio of clients and provide a professional service through developing and maintaining excellent relationships. You will be responsible for preparing and filing statutory accounts and tax returns in a timely manner. You will be onboarding new clients and building and maintaining strong relationships with all clients, both new and existing. You will prepare and submit statutory filings such as company accounts, corporation tax returns and Self-Assessment tax returns. You will also complete monthly payroll filings for clients and review client's portal ensuring everything is entered correctly and kept up to date.


What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience within practice. This candidate will ideally be studying towards an accountancy qualification and be AAT or ACCA Part Qualified. You will need a good understanding of company taxes such as VAT, Corporation Tax and PAYE. You will also need to have experience using accountancy software such as Xero. You will also need to have the ability to manage your own workload and work to deadlines, while delivering an excellent client service.
