As the Shared Services Unit (SSU) ER/LR Supervisory Human Resources Specialist, the incumbent is responsible for managing and delivering employee relations/labor relations, performance management and drug-free workplace for the Network. Major duties of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Plans work and carries out activities to manage employee/labor relations for an integrated healthcare network.
• Developing guidance, procedures, and standards for new and/or changing program areas to maximize personnel management support.
• Provides technical guidance, information, and assistance to management and senior leadership officials on sensitive, serious, and controversial employee labor relations issues regarding employees in a wide variety of occupations, including Title 5 General Schedule (GS) and Wage Grade (WG), administrative and clinical, and Title 38.

4. Serves as advisor to commanders on unit human resources (military) programs. Performs personnel supervisory/management responsibilities.
5. Provides human resources management (military) advisory services to commanders and staff on all Career Development programs.
6. Ensures accuracy of Personnel Data System (PDS) and performs functional review of data reliability. May be required to perform Installation Personnel Readiness duties and/or assist as directed.
