The school are looking for someone who is able to act as a translator for students aged 5 - 16 years old, and their families, who speak Romanian as their first language. You will be expected to work with these students not only to translate, but also to help them with their English and provide support to them in lessons. You will also act as an intermediary between school staff and students parents at parents evenings, review meetings etc.

Hays Education are working with a school in Sheffield who are needing an Alternative Provision Lead from September. This is a full-time job, which will initially be a temporary post with a view to becoming permanent further down the line. The Alternative Provision is brand new in this school from September, so it's a really exciting time to be joining and helping mould and develop the unit.

The purpose of the Alternative Provision is to provide support and nurture to a range of students; including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Education, Health Care Plans (EHCP's), vulnerable and disengaged students and students with barriers to learning. Some students will work 100% of the time in the unit, others will use the unit at times when they are feeling overwhelmed in mainstream school.

As AP Lead, you will be expected to manage the staff and students working within that unit at all times, as well as plan and deliver lessons, monitor behaviour, liaise with other members of staff including the Special Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and produce reports as and when required. Hours of work are 08:00 - 16:00, 5 days a week.

• Have experience working with children/adults with Special Educational Needs
• Have previous experience working as a Head of Year/Pastoral Lead/Inclusion Lead/Teacher
• Hold QTS or a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification
• Hold a valid driving licence and ideally have access to a car
• Be available to start work in September
• Have strong organisational and behaviour management skills
• Have a valid, enhanced DBS that is registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new one.

Hays Education are working with a school in Sheffield who are in need of a number of Special Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistants from September. The positions are temporary in the first instance, with the potential of becoming permanent further down the line.

The school are looking for staff to work in the main school, and also their new Alternative Provision which is opening in September. You will be working with students aged 3-16 with Special Educational Needs - some with Education, Health Care Plans (EHCPs), vulnerable and disengaged students and those with barriers to learning. You will be expected to support students on either a 1:1 or small group basis either in a full classroom or in a smaller, quieter setting. You may also be required to liaise with other staff in school and parents/carers. These are full-time jobs working 37 hours a week.

My client has an excellent opportunity for a paralegal who has quality private client experience (wills, estates, powers of attorney). This vacancy is an in-house position and can be done on a 100% remote basis should that be the successful candidate's preference.

Candidates interested in applying for this role can expect to be involved in the documenting and drafting of wills, powers of attorney and additional estate planning documentation, all of which will have a varying degree of complexity. There will be the expectation to communicate and build relationships with clients and other external partners, as well as the ability to manage a caseload and accurately maintain records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Previous experience of drafting wills and advising clients relating to estate planning matters is essential for this role.
