What we are looking for

• Education: Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree is a plus.

  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets. 

How you will thrive and create an impact  

• Provide technical expertise to sales representatives, resellers, and customers during the sales process.
• Perform technical sales support at customer sites or on a multiple-site basis.
• Resolve technical product/service issues.
• Assist customers during the sales process to maximize the benefits derived from the organization's products and/or services.

• Identify and lead the development or refinement of custom manufacturing opportunities.
• Visit with and facilitate senior level presentations to end customers.
• Use of CRM system for consistent reporting and information exchange.

Lead Software Engineer - Clinicals Product

We are looking for a Lead Engineer to join our Clinicals product team within our Core Services Engineering organization. We deliver technology that allows doctors to be doctors so that they can spend more time doing what they do best: provide patient care.
 
You are a senior developer with experience building full stack web applications, preferably in public and private cloud environments. You are an excellent communicator that is capable of quickly picking up the complicated healthcare space. You are a tenacious, but nimble learner, who demonstrates design & engineering excellence.
 
The Team: Our athenaClinicals – Ambulatory team builds code that matters, working on the doctors’ workflows that is used by over 100,000 healthcare providers daily. We build the interface that makes the interactions between these providers and the electronic health record as seamless as possible, and elevates what the doctor needs to see, when they need to see it. This team is innovative, passionate, and driven by our mission to help make an impact.
 
Job Responsibilities

• Lead, design and develop code on an agile team of Engineers, a Scrum Master, a Product Owner, and Experience Designer
• Collaborate, mentor and advise team members to promote productivity and effectiveness; share business and technical insights with the broader engineering and product organization
• Develop knowledge to act as a domain expert. Take ownership of what the team builds and coordinate efforts across the teams to ensure proper completion

Typical Qualifications

• Ideally 6+ years of software engineering experience with significant product development expertise
• Proficient in at least one modern programming language preferably in Java; relational databases, with modern UI frameworks helpful
• We work in Agile TDD environments, so any Agile experience or CI/CD concepts is helpful
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux, SQL, RESTful API, and various other technologies is helpful

As a key member of the Software Test group, the candidate will support the activities related to the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of NxStage’s software-based medical device products and supporting software.  The candidate will gain experience with software test automation, Python scripting, Continuous Integration (CI), embedded systems, GUI systems, and medical device standards ISO 13485 Quality Management System and IEC 62304 Software Life Cycle Process.

 Core Responsibilities:

• Add new features, functionality to the software test automation framework built in Python.
• Maintain and update the test automation framework code as needed.
• Support integration of automated tests with continuous integration (CI) servers.
• Automate test cases using Python, JavaScript.
• Support manual testing using embedded test tools like debuggers, oscilloscopes and multimeters when needed.
• Work closely with Software Test Engineers and Developers to reproduce, isolate, and resolve issues.
• Ensure all activities conform to design controls. Ensure all testing activities are properly documented.
