Job scope and responsibility:

Requirements

Regional Security - General framework

As a regional representative from Corporate Security Directorate, the Regional Security Advisor ensures the proper consideration of security measures for people, assets and information in Naval Group’s countries of interest in South-East Asia. Main responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, such as vendor and client agreements, aligning them with company objectives and mitigating risks.
• Oversee and resolve legal disputes, including managing litigation with external counsel, to protect the company’s interests.
• Mentor and manage a junior legal team member, collaborate across departments, and address counterfeit and infringement cases with headquarters.
• Assist in creating and implementing internal policies that promote legal compliance and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (PDPA), overseeing data processing activities within legal requirements.
• Work closely with senior management and other teams to offer legal insights and support strategic business decisions.

Requirements

• Ideally Singapore qualified but open to commonwealth bar qualification or those with a law degree (minimum requirement), with at least 5 years of experience, ideally in licensing, intellectual property, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of intellectual property law and licensing, with practical experience in corporate and contract law.
• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills, combined with strong verbal and written communication.
• Proven ability to lead and manage projects with a high level of organization and attention to deadlines.
• Previous experience in a leadership or mentoring role within a legal department would be helpful.

Job Responsibilities :

• Lead a team to deliver project on schedule and within budget

• Do overall project planning, scheduling, monitoring and updating to meet targets

• Manage risks, issues, budgets and scope throughout the project life-cycle

• Responsible for all construction site matters including safety and other compliance matters

• Ensure all works carried out meet with Clients/Company’s quality standards and requirements

• To meet Government / Statutory / Government Agency’s regulations/requirements at all times

Job Requirements :

• Degree in Civil Engineering accepted by Singapore PE Board/BCA

• Minimum 10 years experiences as a Project Manager, exposures with major projects in Civil Engineering /Building Construction Industry

• Knowledge of best practices in Construction Project Management

• Excellent in Leadership, Analytical, Planning, Organisational, Communication, Presentation skills

• Build and maintain positive relationships with external clients/internal team members
