Salary Information: The salary range for Tampa, FL (TPA - Tampa International Airport) is $39,576 to $55,231 or $18.96 to $26.46 per hour and includes locality pay of 16.82%.

This Transportation Security Officer position is located in Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As a Transportation Security Officer (TSOs) within Security Operations (SO), you will provide security and protection of air travelers, airports and aircraft in a courteous and professional manner. Duties may include but are not limited to:

• Operating various screening equipment and technology to identify dangerous objects in baggage, cargo and on passengers, and preventing those objects from being transported onto aircraft.
• Performing searches and screening, which may include physical interaction with passengers (e.g., pat-downs, search of property, etc.), conducting bag searches and lifting/carrying bags, bins, and property weighing up to 50lbs.
• Controlling terminal entry and exit points.
• Interacting with the public, giving directions and responding to inquiries.
• Maintaining focus and awareness while working in a stressful environment which includes noise from alarms, machinery and people, crowd distractions, time pressure, and disruptive and angry passengers, in order to preserve the professional ability to identify and locate potentially life threatening or mass destruction devices, and to make effective decisions in both crisis and routine situations.
• Engaging in continuous development of critical thinking skills, necessary to mitigate actual and potential security threats, by identifying, evaluating, and applying appropriate situational options and approaches. This may include application of risk-based security screening protocols that vary based on program requirements.
• Retaining and implementing knowledge of all applicable Standard Operating Procedures, demonstrating responsible and dependable behavior, and is open to change and adapts to new information or unexpected obstacles.

• Receives, distributes, and analyzes information to integrate, synchronize and coordinate resources across the spectrum of Cyberspace Operations (CO).
• Coordinates the daily activities of team members consisting of Army civilians, Soldiers and contractors that directly support five Regional Cyberspace Centers supporting combatant commanders in six regions around the world in a 24 x 7 environment.
• Coordinates with Joint Force Headquarters-Department of Defense Information Networks (JFHQ-DODIN) for tactical control of Persistent Threat Management assets.
• Synchronizes across all Service components for situational awareness and information validation.
• Synchronizes the daily activity of ARCYBER for operations conducted across the spectrum of Cyber Operations.
• Coordinates directly with the Cyberspace Threat Assessment team for both proactive and reactive threats to the Army portion of the DODIN.

• The responsibilities described are for the full performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope performed with less independence, and limited complexity.
• Perform preliminary review of immigration applications and databases, identifying information relevant to the performance of background and security checks.
• Assist Asylum Officers in the adjudication of benefit applications, petitions, and removal actions by compiling and evaluating data and preparing case decisions.
• Review case decision documentation against applicant file to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and procedures.

SUMMARY

The Senior IT Consultant / Cloud Security Assessor - Cloud Security Monitoring will conduct security validations and assessments, in support of the FedRAMP and DoD Provisional Authorization (PA) processes and Cloud Services documentation packages. This position provides advanced technical expertise to senior management, department heads and/or staff. The Senior IT Consultant recommends specific solutions based on specialized capabilities to perform and integrate highly complex services in several operational, functional, or organizational areas. This position is located in Fort Meade, MD.

Candidates must be certified in one of the areas as directed by DoD 8570- CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO;

Additionally possess a DOD Top Secret or Secret Clearance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Conduct Cloud Security Assessments to include:  validated cybersecurity controls, certifier's recommendation, and certifier’s statement of residual risk, certification assessment briefing slides, and a provisional authorization. If the validation is leading to a Joint Authorization Board (JAB) Provisional Authorization (PA), a one-page executive summary shall also be prepared.  Utilizing established process, procedures, templates, and forms:

Attend technical kick-off meetings and review preliminary analysis to understand and document a CSP’s readiness posture.  

Review and comment on CSO’s SSP, SAP, SAR, and POA&M.

Review, understand, and document the operational impact that the security authorization, change, and/or vulnerabilities poses to the CSP.  

Review, evaluate, and provide analysis in order to develop the Cloud Security Assessment Package in accordance with (IAW) the established guidelines.

Create a certification recommendation memorandum that detail the CSO’s compliance with required DoD Cybersecurity controls, technical compliance, and include any residual risk. 

Cloud Continuous Monitoring:  Perform DoD and FedRAMP Cloud Authorization on-going support to include continuous monitoring,  annual reviews and significant change requests of Cloud Service Providers through reviews, recommendations, written reports, and briefings. This task involves a review and analysis of the following:  Deviation Requests (validations or justifications for a finding to be carried), Monthly One Pagers (description of the Cyber status of a CSO for that month), Annual Assessments (AA), (one-third of the assessment of the total CSO’ baseline conducted each year), Playbooks (Weekly report on the ConMon status process of a particular set of CSO’s), Significant Change Requests (SCR’s) adding new requirements/capabilities to a CSO’s offering, reviewing of  the scan data, POA&Ms, and other changes to evaluate a CSP’s ongoing risk posture change.  Create monthly one pagers and playbooks. 

Ensure the DoD and FedRAMP’s monitoring programs provide oversight of CSP, ensuring a risk-based approach and provides data for the AO to understand risk position of cloud service provider environment.

Provide ongoing assurances (assessments and validations) that security controls are in place that adhere to DoD and FedRAMP requirements, to ensure compliance to maintain validation.

Ensure system risk safeguards and controls are in place to operate effectively, utilizing a proactive system and risk-based approach in monitoring.

Provide a more continuous view of cloud service provider applications and devices, to promote improved decision making based on assessed risks, while maintaining requirement of authorized risk levels.

Accomplish through the CSP an architectural reviews a risk-based situational awareness approach for network visibility to reduce timely mitigation steps.

Ensure the FedRAMP/DoD CSP provides timely incident reporting and escalation, major system changes approval affecting the authorization boundary.

Integrate security and risk management processes that identify actionable items, based on potential risks.

Validate and ensure CSP performs vulnerability scans of required security controls established by/for DoD and FedRAMP.

Recommend and monitor POA&M and monthly submission and review of vulnerability scans, playbooks, change request, deviation reports, and monthly one-pagers established for FedRAMP and DoD.

Conduct annual assessments for FedRAMP/DoD. 

Support continuous monitoring and annual reviews of Cloud Services through reviews, recommendations, written reports, and briefings.  

 Document continuous monitoring standards and frameworks.

Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.

Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor’s instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or above, or equivalent combination of IT technical or cybersecurity Associates Degree and seven (7) years’ experience. Experience with a Program in a Federal organization. A demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Windows/Office and Microsoft Project.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION

Must possess a 8570 DOD IAM-III level certification which requires one of the following certifications: CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO.
Must posses a Secret or Top Secret Clearance.
May be subject to a background investigation and must be able to meet the requirements to hold a government security clearance.

• Support the Global Assessment Unit Owner/Risk Owner to ensure the adherence to the MCA Standard and all requirements of the MCA Lifecycle are executed as is required.
• Support teams in the quality, completeness, and accuracy of the implementation of the Control Framework, including Risk Control Policy, Control Standard, Issue Management Policy, Lesson Learned Policy and Control Inventory.
• Assist in performing a detailed analysis on the identification of issue root cause, partnering with control and process owners to recommendations holistic corrective actions and improvements, provide check and challenge to ensure appropriate escalation in according with Issue Management and Escalation Policies.
• Help contribute to the Lessons Learned Policy, including monitoring of control breaches and dissemination and learnings across other business units for process improvement to limit the occurrence of similar future events and where similar risk exposure might exist.
• Support the review and challenge process, within Legal and RSP, on the effective design and management of controls to mitigate risks as required by the Control Standards, including implementation and operation, conducting the control monitoring, handling deficiencies, and escalating issues for resolution.

This position will support the DISA GSM-O II Task Number 07 (TN07) Joint Force Headquarters DODIN. GSM-O II provides network operations and cyber defense support to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) in support of the DoD and COCOMs. The selected candidate shall provide a stabilizing force to the high intensity, high tempo operations center. In depth technical knowledge, management, and analytic skills address senior command requirements, subordinate command information requirements, as well as supplements operations during a time of need.

Primary Responsibilities

MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre is seeking a Security team member. This person will guard, patrol, and/or monitor the venue premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. May operate metal detector equipment.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

• Circulate among guests and/or employees to preserve safety, order and to protect the venue property.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security and safety of the premises.
• May write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
• Show CARE by participating in the venue’s sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts.
• Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue-this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.
• Warn persons of rule infractions or violations and apprehend or evict violators from premises.

What you will do 

A Johnson Controls Security Technician is a troubleshooter and service expert possessing knowledge and experience with intrusion, IP CCTV, access control and fire alarm systems from multiple manufacturers. Candidate will possess strong verbal communication skills as they identify the needs of the customer and then inform them of next steps and processes to repair the system as needed to return full functionality. Conduct interviews of complainants and witnesses.

Review and analyze policies and procedures, medical records, reports of information system activity, computer audits, the internet, and financial reports.

Knowledge of the application of nondiscrimination and conscience regulations, the HIPAA Rules, court decisions, agency case precedent, theories, concepts, and principles to investigation, enforcement, and compliance work.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Minimum educational experience is a law degree (J.D.) from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA).
