We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our team within the College of Science and Engineering working with the College Office and College Wide functions. Finance Business Partners will work closely with senior management teams providing strategic insight, analysis and advice enabling the delivery of sustainable financial forecasting and performance; advocate and support consistent application of finance policy and procedures; and line manage finance partnering team.

Your skills and attributes for success:

Degree or equivalent with a relevant professional financial/accounting qualification (e.g. ICAS, ICAEW, CIMA or CIPFA)
A proven record of accomplishment in managing relevant financial and administrative tasks, preferably some in an HE environment.
Experience of leading and managing significant projects and budgets.
Experience of providing analysis and strategic advice to senior managers.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, proven ability to explain complex finance concepts and the implication of financial decisions to non-specialists, excellent analytical skills and admirable IT skills (in particular, design and use of complex spreadsheets).
Superb interpersonal, people management and time management skills, with proven ability to influence others to achieve aims and evidence of successfully developing own team.

Subsea7 has an opportunity for a Data Processing Project Coordinator to join our UK & Global IRM team based in our Aberdeen, Westhill office. Successful candidates may also work from home remotely within the specified hub locations utilising cutting edge cloud technologies.

This role has been created as a result of a transition from an offshore support role to an onshore support role and will further complement our global remote processing and reporting service.

Reporting to the Data Delivery Manager, the successful applicant will coordinate and schedule the allocation of Data Processing and Reporting resources to support Subsea7 & Seaway7 remote activities. This requirement will include maintenance and updates of documentation and associated performance metrics. Data Processing and quality control activities will also be required. This is an onshore role to further complement our global remote processing and reporting service.

About the role

You will be part of the College’s P&OD professional team, and will play a key, lead role in coordinating the collaborative efforts of the business partner team to deliver an expert service that ensures that managers and staff across the College are able to utilise dedicated, tailored P&OD advisory and administrative services effectively. You will guide the delivery of routine human resources operations and collaborate with others to steer key projects and initiatives to successful implementation.

About you
With substantial human resources professional experience, gained within a complex and diverse knowledge-based environment, you will have a proven track record of contributing to the design and development of people and organisational development initiatives, as well as a proven track record of successfully influencing and shaping wider team efforts. The Assistant Project Worker will support the provision of relationship-based support delivered to young people and families in the community and promote positive outcomes in line with the values and principles of includem.

Working alongside the Project Worker to deliver aspects of the support plan that has been developed with the young person. They will understand and respond to individualised needs identified in the support plan to improve outcomes in line with GIRFEC principles and includem’s model of support.

As Senior HR Partner aligned to Corporate Services, you and the team will contribute to the provision of a professional HR service to around 3,000 staff across a diverse range of departments and roles. You’ll plan and organise a range of HR activities over the departments you support. This includes developing HR plans and contributing to strategies which support the annual business planning over the medium to long term. You’ll act as a conduit between Corporate Services departments and other HR teams, to deliver value adding guidance and expertise, drive a consistent approach and a seamless service for our colleagues.

You’ll need a well-developed level of professional knowledge and experience to effectively analyse and interpret each situation, and offer pragmatic, business-focused advice and guidance, balancing legal implications, risk appetite and business need. You’ll be communicating with, challenging and influencing a variety of stakeholders effectively, presenting sound and well-reasoned arguments. Challenges will vary in size and complexity and will normally be solved through discussion, direction and advising on suitable options with a high degree of tact, sensitivity and emotional intelligence. You’ll take the initiative, originate action and be responsible for the consequences of decisions made, using these as an opportunity to continuously improve the delivery of an effective HR service. Overall you’ll need the ability to effectively prioritise and balance a busy workload and competing demands.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Finance Business Support Assistant to provide financial transaction processing support to both staff and PhD students within the School, supporting our core research and finance activities. Whilst the post is advertised as full-time, we would consider applications for between 0.8 FTE and 1 FTE (ie. 28 to 35 hours per week).

The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills as you will be required to communicate with a wide range of people across the organisation, word processing skills, an excellent telephone manner and the ability to accurately collate and record information. Health Equity Project

The Division of Community Outreach and Medical Education at Albany Medical College (AMC DivCOME) seeks a passionate and qualified individual to provide administrative and program coordination support for the Health Equity Project. The person in this role helps to administer community-based programs including communicating with community partners, coordinating medical student participation, supporting community-based service learning within an academic medical setting, and providing direct assistance to community members and patients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with implementation of the Health Equity Project (HEP).  This program provides support to community members and patients in addressing healthcare system and social determinant of health-related needs such as accessing health insurance, finding a primary care provider, addressing food insecurity, or arranging medical transportation.
• Train as a Certified Application Counselor with the NYS of Health and complete annual recertification training.  Utilize this training to assist individuals enrolling in health insurance.
• Provide direct assistance to HEP clients and patients at community and clinical sites in Albany.
• Assist with program evaluation and tracking activities.
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team with medical students, graduate students, physicians, community organization staff, and AMC faculty.
• Oversee medical student activities and scheduling.
• Other duties as assigned.
   

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, social work, health related field or liberal arts.  Master’s degree in a related field preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Professional experience in public health, social work, case management, or healthcare administration.
• Experience working in diverse and/or underserved communities.
• Knowledge of public health and social factors that impact healthcare.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to organize work effectively, set priorities, and manage time.
• Experience creating reports and training documents.
• Commitment to social justice and equity in healthcare.
• Proficiency with Microsoft programs including Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint, and Excel.

We’re looking for a Project Worker to join our team in Aberdeen working to support children, young people and families.

The post-holder will manage their own caseload ensuring support plans are developed with the young person to respond to their individual needs and supporting them to improve outcomes in line with GIRFEC principles and includem’s model of support.

A project worker will demonstrate leadership and ownership over effective service delivery to young people by managing outcomes for young people through use of line managers, colleagues and organisational tools, processes, policies and procedures.

Permanent Contract is in-line with the funding.
