The Role:

As a P6 Planning Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and scheduling activities of multiple projects using Primavera P6 software. You will ensure that project plans are accurately developed, maintained, and communicated, providing critical support to project teams for effective project delivery. Your role will involve collaboration with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to optimise project timelines, resources, and costs.

P6 Planning Manager, Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 for multiple projects.
• Integrate various project schedules into a master program to monitor overall progress.
• Ensure alignment of project schedules with project objectives and key milestones.
• Coordinate with project teams to assign and allocate resources effectively.
• Monitor resource usage and availability, making adjustments to optimise resource allocation.
• Identify potential resource constraints and provide solutions to mitigate impact on project timelines.
• Track project progress against established schedules and milestones.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports, including schedule variance analysis.

P6 Planning Manager Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, with at least 3 years using Primavera P6.
• Proven experience in managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects in the telecommunications or construction industry.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex project data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI-SP, APM) are an advantage.

We are currently seeking an Supply Chain Project Planner to work with our global FMCG client Elida Beauty, renowned for brands such as V05, TIGI, Timotei and Impulse, to become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.

The position is based in Battersea. This is a full-time temporary role for 9 months, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Compensation for this role is paying between £37,200 - £46,500 per annum pro rata, depending on experience.

There will be a requirement to work onsite 2 days per week for as long as the business permits (Role currently offers a mix of remote & onsite working, subject to adjustment based on business requirements)

Your Role & Key Responsibilities

As the Innovation Planner, you will play a crucial role in Innovation Planning process, ensuring that you are supporting the commercial strategy and vision through the delivery of innovation projects taking into account information from key stakeholders (Marketing, R&D, Procurement, Customer Development).

Your Key Responsibilities

• E2E execution of Innovation Planning Team Strategy
• Collaborate with Marketing, R&D, Procurement, Customer Development to incorporate key innovation plans into the market
• Defines and develops network activities, innovation planning process and ensures delivery of key activities on time in full
• Ensures agile delivery of ideas into launch - through a test launch and scale up.
• Responsible to deliver OTIF projects with incremental turnover and margin improvements

• Ensure the SKU portfolio is regularly reviewed ensuring we address delist, margin improvement or volume/MOQ correction
• Works closely with all SC functions to ensure delivery of SC related activities on time in full as part of the network
• Keeps an eye on the new trends from the consumers based on inputs from marketing and ensures a supply solution through 3PM procurement
• Support process hygiene and lead technology transformation where relevant

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in business, finance or supply chain management.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Innovation Planning, Supply Planning, Demand Planning or an R&D innovation focussed role
• Demonstrated conceptual problem-solving ability; excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure with autonomy
• The ability to effectively lead and engage cross functional global teams and a willingness to take responsibility and accountability
• Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to deliver results in a lean, agile organization and able to adapt to changing priorities
• Experience working with Microsoft Project and building networks/timelines
• Experience in project management
• Strong Excel Skills
