An excellent opportunity has arisen for a LEEA Technician to join the team operating from our depot in Dartford.
You would be responsible for the day to day running of the MGF Regional Lifting Centre and the upkeep of all Lifting equipment along with certification. The duties involve the testing, maintenance, repair of lifting and safety of this equipment.
Your key responsibilities may include:

Coordination and day to day running of the internal Lifting centre.
Preparation, checking, inspecting, recording, and testing of MGF lifting equipment to LEEA standard, LOLER and PUWER legislation ready to supply to clients and depots as and when required.
Carry out fault finding procedures, repairing any defects found and restoring equipment to a safe working condition.
Prioritising work to meet depot requirements.
Produce reports to present and discuss findings to our network of depots.
Issue of test certificates to equipment on completion of successful testing
Responsible for the cleanliness and housekeeping within your area
Monitoring hire fleet stock levels for the region and advising on any overall shortfalls in kit and components.
Inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a varied range of hire fleet equipment including chain blocks, genie lifts, and vacuum handling machines

You must hold a current LEEA foundation accreditation or above (or be prepared to work towards LEEA General level).

• Work alongside a team of planners to guarantee that all repair tasks adhere to our Service Level Agreement by scheduling appointments efficiently.
• Coordinate with Clients, Tradespeople, Supervisors, and Managers to ensure seamless communication throughout the repair process.
• Utilise our MSi system to assign jobs to operatives, considering their availability and skill sets.
• Keep customers informed about the progress of their repairs, providing timely updates.
