About the Role

As a Maintenance Person for Maria Mallaband care group you will be part the care homes team and as such work with other staff to ensure the safety of all the Service Users, visitors and employees. The work can be both physically and mentally demanding. Predominately the job is about Health and Safety checks of the building, environment and equipment. It will also require you to go into residents rooms and being able to feel comfortable around people living with dementia.

Professional

Main Responsibilities

As our Mobile Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for undertaking plant maintenance, repairs and improvements to ensure maximum reliability of all plant associated areas and to assist team members in aspects of plant operation.

Your responsibilities as the Mobile Maintenance Fitter will include (not exhaustive):

• Respond to plant breakdowns, when necessary and be responsible for the correct and efficient repair of equipment keeping downtime to a minimum with timely and safe adherence to the maintenance plan whilst complying to all relevant statutory legislation and the internal company Safety, Health and Environmental standards
• PAT Testing portable appliances in addition to demonstrating competences in Fault Diagnosis

• Continue to improve plant performance whilst maintaining safety, maintenance and asset reliability
• Contribute to the in-house development of the Computer Maintenance Management System
• Ensure that Van Stock Levels are Maintained

Main Responsibilities

The role of Materials Testing Technician will report directly to the Technical Manager working on the testing of Readymix and developing products. The role is both site and Laboratory based as you will be required go out on to the sites to obtain samples which is an essential aspect of the job.

• Possess good communications skills and will be able to liaise with stakeholders of varying seniority levels

• Test procedures – To ensure testing procedures are fully documented, understood and communicated to comply with company standards
• Sampling & Testing – To carry out sampling and testing in line with contract requirements utilising in-house company Schedule and external 3rd party accredited test houses where required
• Advise Technical Manager and Operational staff when quality standards are being compromised and take appropriate action to rectify quality issues

As part of the prescribing team the post holder is responsible in supporting our GPs, Nursing. We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager for a large production facility near Norwich. You will support the site services and facilities of this busy manufacturing plant.
Your new role
You will lead the site maintenance function in providing both a reactive and proactive maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure. You will be responsible for workflows, service calls, annual PPM and planned outages. You will be responsible for planning the maintenance schedule and ensuring timely completion of works carried out, delegating any maintenance issues to be resolved on each shift, including small projects, and managing effective works.
You will ensure all buildings, plant and facilities are fit for purpose, ensuring machine availability whilst liaising with shift management, you will ensure routine calibration and maintenance of electro-mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems are undertaken. The GORSE Academies Trust are seeking to appoint a skilled, passionate technologist with a keen interest in customer service, for the role of IT Technician. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of providing remote and onsite support to customers, ideally within an education setting. They will be committed to ensuring that IT Services are safe, secure, and robust, whilst maintaining flexible, friendly and strong working relationships with all stakeholders. The successful candidate will join an established IT Service Hub, based onsite at one of our secondary academies.

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are entering an exciting time within the UST Central Estates and Facilities Team – As a smaller Multi Academy Trust with over 3500 pupils across 4 schools within 7 unique buildings, we recognise the depth of strategic and operational expertise required to align with the Department for Educations guidance on Good Estates Management and prepare for growth within the Academies Sector.

We are currently seeking to appoint an Assistant Operations Manager – Estates and Facilities to support the Trust Operations Manager – Estates and Facilities in providing operational support to our school leaders and in house FM Team as well as work strategically to assist in implementing the Estates Strategy for UST.

About the post

Working as part of the Central Office Estates Team, the role of our Assistant Operations Manager – Estates & Facilities is to provide strategic operational Facilities Management assistance of our 4 schools Based in Tower Hamlets and Greenwich.

You will be responsible for

• Contributing to the overall Strategic Planning of the Trusts’ Facilities Operations and to provide support and assistance to our Facilities Teams within the schools
• Regular Liaison with our School Facilities Managers to establish and prioritise the current operational need.
• Assisting with the coordination and day to day management of the school Facilities and Estates Teams.
• Contributing to the health and safety and fire and Security of the trust
• Liaising with the external letting's contracts and catering managers across all schools in the Trust

About you

The successful candidate for the role of Assistant Operations Manager will have:

• Experience working within a diverse Facilities and Estates Environment
• Good knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety policy and practices preferably in an educational environment
• Knowledge of contract administration
• Ability to procure contract services, evaluate performance and negotiate solutions with supplier
• Ability to form good working relationships both within the Trust and with external bodies and suppliers
