Working as part of a two man team, whilst also being part of a larger team covering the South West - this is a temp to perm position to start immediately and would suit someone who has previously worked as a Grounds Maintenance person, Gardener or has maintained outdoor areas.

Duties will include: grass cutting, strimming, maintaining shrubs, hedges and trees. There may be some planting, bark mulch etc and general upkeep of the customer sites, removing fallen leaves and controlling weeds.

You will have previous practical experience and understanding of machinery and equipment associated with grounds maintenance tasks. The successful Gardener will be working in established teams, carrying out external grounds maintenance on customers premises. In addition must have a full UK driving licence.

Salary: £21277 - £23314 pa
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to join our innovative and successful Design & Technology department to support the teaching of a wide range of Design, Art and Technology subjects. Key responsibilities will include:
● assisting in practical lessons
● preparing equipment and teaching areas
● maintaining equipment
● ensuring a safe environment for students and staff
The successful candidate will have practical and technical skills, with the ability to solve problems, strong organisational and ICT skills.
Training will be provided in areas that more knowledge is required
Essential skills Desirable skills
Ability to work as part of a team
A willingness to undertake appropriate training in areas not already skilled in
Good communicator.
Initiative to pre-empt jobs and prepare materials and resources needed.
ICT skills in basic software
Practical skills
Strong organisational skills
Technical skills in Design and Technology subjects.
Knowledge of Health and safety regulations for the workshop.
Computer Aided Design skills
Applicants must also be self-motivated, possess excellent interpersonal/ communication skills and have the ability to work with students. Relevant experience within a secondary school setting is desirable, but this is not essential, as appropriate training will be provided. In general, the duties required of the post-holder are to work as an individual or as a member of the team assisting the running of the School by providing minor maintenance, cleaning, tidying and security. The successful candidate will be trustworthy, hardworking and have a great attention to detail. Full training is available; however, experience would be an advantage.
