About the Role Responsible for overall Accounts Payable (AP) function supporting Singapore business covering the whole spectrum of accounting, control and processing of all vendor purchase and staff reimbursements incurred by all business units. The role is responsible for ensuring all payments processed are approved within the policy / procedures, DAL and timelines. To ensure that expenses are properly coded to respective accounts, cost centres and funds, all relevant documents are filed, and alert management should there be any breach or process risk detected in the course of payment processing / validation. Job Description To support and review the payment process for management expenses in accordance to regulatory, statutory and management reporting guidelines. Ensure all payments are in accordance to the stipulated payment guidelines. Perform month end closing entries and monthly management expense analysis. (50%) To support business units on the queries relating to payments or Ariba and concur issues and manage queries from GFS (15%) To actively look to improve the workflow and processes with a view of minimising control weakness whilst improving efficiency and ensuring accuracy of critical outputs. (10%) To Participate in new business initiatives discussions that have implications on management expenses to assess impact and establish the appropriate process in support of business growth. (10%) To perform quarterly balance sheet reconciliation (10%) To performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned in order to meet operational and/or other requirements. (5%) Requirements ~ 5 years finance operational experience (financial services or an MNC environment preferred) Experience of identifying and implementing rigorous operational controls to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of expense management and AR Experience in systems implementation/UAT Prior experience with SAP 6.0 accounting system and ARIBA is preferred #LI-SC1 Build a career with us as we help our customers and the community live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.
