This Supervisory Social Worker position is within the Mental Health Service at the White River Junction location. This position is full-time at 40 hours per week.
General Description of Assigned Duties:
- The incumbent manages and is the administrator of the HUD/VASH and HCHV Program for the White River Junction VA Healthcare System. The objective of the VASH program is to re-integrate homeless Veterans into the community and to help them achieve the maximum level of physical, mental, and social functioning possible. These efforts are achieved through ending homelessness by utilizing housing vouchers and providing clinical case management and other community and facility supports.
- Incumbent is responsible for the management and administration tenant and project-based vouchers provided to homeless Veterans.
- Incumbent is administratively responsible for providing primary supervision of HUD/VASH Social Workers, HUD VASH RN, and HCHV Social Workers.
- Program improvement efforts, tracking and reporting performance measures and other specific homeless monitors is also a key component of the position so familiarity and comfortability with excel spreadsheets and utilizing databases for monitoring is also key.
Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday- Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

Telework: This position is authorized for telework but has not been authorized as virtual or remote (i.e., the must be able to work at the location the position is being announced for).
