We are looking to recruit a Carpenter Multi Trader to join our team covering South Coast, Tonbridge & Redhill.

About the Role

Working to deliver the best quality service, carrying out responsive and planned repairs to both occupied and void properties, you’ll undertake carpentry and other trade repairs and maintenance work, to include Plumbing, Tiling and UPVC Repairs. You’ll receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training), working efficiently and safety in line with best practise to achieve excellent customer experience.

About You

Candidates will hold a relevant trade City and Guilds qualification, or equivalent, with excellent working Health & Safety knowledge. Customer focused with experience of working in both occupied and void properties, you’ll hold a valid CSCS Card and have a passion for completing high-quality repairs on time, first time.

You must hold a valid full or automatic UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months as a company vehicle will be provided (work use only).

Sainsbury's stores are open 7 days a week and here at Arcus we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working available. Our shift patterns consist of early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is

Sunday:06:00-11:00

Monday:Day Off

Tuesday:06:00-11:00

Wednesday:06:00-11:00

Thursday:06:00-11:00

Friday:06:00-11:00

Saturday:06:00-11:00

You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury's supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsburys stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery


• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.


• At times you could be in-store cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows or even oven canopies


• At other times you could be working outside keeping trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris


• Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied

Arcus will support you through full training

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on the job training will be supplied

An eye for detail and cleanliness

A positive attitude to cleaning and customer service
