We are a Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and are looking for a Carpenter inc. Locksmith with any combination of:
- Substantiated experience in similar role
- Be able to display competency in the use and operation of all associated power tools and machinery
- Basic IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements
- Up to date First Aid at Work Qualification
- City & Guilds, National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 3 in Carpentry or an equivalent qualification or substantial experience
- Good Health & Safety knowledge.
- Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.

Your duties will include: Grass / Lawn cutting, edging, strimming, hedge cutting and pruning, litter picking and weed control, using mowers and powered tools.

These are permanent roles available after a successful probation period of 13 to 15 weeks

The hours are 7.30am to 4pm - Monday to Friday

You will be reporting to the depo in the DT11 area

A drivers licence is essential

£12.22 per hour - however this will increase up to £13.45 from 1st April onwards
