In this role, you’re expected to:

• Responsible to perform independent Client Onboarding KYC due diligence functions of new and existing clients across a variety of teams including private bankers, operations and compliance.
• To review clients' profiles and work with banker team to fulfill onboarding requirement, full compliance of Bank’s AML/KYC standards, local laws and regulations.
• Identify and highlight suspicious money laundering activities, deficiencies and other non-compliance issues to management. Provide guidance in exception handling and approval.

• Conduct daily reviews of transaction filtering and screening to ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards.
• Perform sampling of cleared alerts to assess the accuracy and quality of the adjudication.
• Gather and analyze data to spot trends, recurring issues, or inefficiencies in the filtering process.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Conduct regular inspections to verify the work complies with method statements and BCA's Good Industry Practice (GIP) guidelines
2. Monitor subcontractor workers across all trades, identifying and ensuring proper rectification of defects
3. Create and implement effective QA/QC plans to ensure consistent quality throughout the project
4. Prepare clear and accurate QA/QC reports and assist in preparing QM submissions
5. Maintain quality standards: Execute quality control based on site-specific materials and the Project Quality Plan (PQP)
6. Issue and manage Site Memos: Effectively communicate non-conformances, corrective actions, and preventive measures through Site Memos
7. Oversee corrective actions: Monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive actions against identified non-conformities
8. Liaise with external bodies: Arrange and coordinate with BCA for CONQUAS assessments
9. Ensure method statement compliance: Verify that all method statements have client and consultant approvals before implementation
10. Manage testing requirements: Follow up on all required tests as per contract specifications and Inspection Test Plan (ITP)
11. Active participation: Attend regular site meetings (QAQC, Landscape Coordination, Client Meetings) and contribute actively
12. Off-site inspections: Conduct or participate in inspections at precast and structural steel works facilities (Malaysia and Singapore)

• Visit subsidiaries and review operations and internal controls with reference to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Controls Self-Assessment (CSA), reporting inadequacy, lapses or discrepancies and providing recommendations for improvement.
• Liaise with key personnel in subsidiaries to monitor the progress of improvements implementation, at the same time evaluating its effectiveness.
• Assist in the conduct of fraud investigations where necessary.

Risk & Compliance Activities

• Maintain the Group’s finance SOPs, key among them, the subsidiary accounting handbook and supplementary policies, enhancing and updating them periodically.
• Assist in coordination of the Group’s Enterprise Risk Management activities, where top risks of the Group are identified and monitored to reduce risk of occurrence or impacts.

Quality Assurance of Quality Management Systems

• Assist the QA Manager in developing, implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System for CPM GMP, GDP, Halal Certification and other relevant standards required by the local authority. Ensure conformance to the standards and continuous certification
• Assist the QA Manager in developing and delivering continuous training programs to all levels of staff to ensure awareness of CPM GMP, GDP and Halal requirements, and compliance to healthcare guidelines
• Keeping up to date on new regulatory requirements and ensure internal SOP guidelines are in compliance
• Active participation in external and internal audits
• Ensure all non-conformances raised during internal and external audits are adequately addressed, closed and monitored

Support of Production Quality Control

• Execute the Quality Controlling activities for incoming and outgoing materials. Ensure the QC activities are carried out as of requirements in SOPs and are properly recorded. Authorized for release or reject of the materials
• Update and maintain specification for CPM/Health supplements/Cosmetic (bulk material, packaging material and finished products)
• Ensure timely calibration of equipment (e.g. data loggers)
• Carry out bulk material sampling and testing. Responsible for checking of the test results from internal and external testing. Ensure proper record keeping and retention of test reports
• Provide support to production in approval of Master Production Ticket (MPT) and releasing of incoming materials such as bulk and packaging materials for production use
• Monitor incoming materials and feedback to supplier for any non-conforming materials found. Liaise with supplier for corrective and preventive actions, and maintain the materials non-conformance records
• Maintain the retention sample records and ensure proper disposal of the retention samples according to SOP
• Carry out stability studies of the products and maintain records accordingly
• Assist in maintaining and updating of the Manufacturing Formula, Processing and Packaging Instruction (MFPP) of the products

Commercial Product Quality Support

• Assist the QA Manager by working with respective product/brand owners in following up on the investigation, resolution of quality-related complaint, and recommending corrective and preventive actions
• Ensure execution of the recommended actions, recording and periodic review of quality-related complaints
