What You Will Need:

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• Demonstrated knowledge and success in advising federal clients in improving internal controls over financial reporting and meeting the requirements of related federal guidance and requirements, including: OMB Circular A-123, Appendix A and C, the GAO Green Book, the Chief Financial Officers Act of 1990, Federal Managers’ Financial Integrity Act of 1982 (FMFIA), and Payment Integrity Information Act of 2019 (PIIA);

• Experience understanding deficiencies communicated by the auditor, tracking audit PBC requests, responding to audit requests, developing corrective action plans, and executing remediation with a focus on internal controls over financial reporting and management financial statement assertions;

The Senior Vegetation Management Inspector (SVMI)-TRAQ position is ideal for seasoned forestry professionals with an educational background in forestry, horticulture, arboriculture, environmental studies, conservation, or related disciplines and with experience in these fields and line of work.

Contingent at the approval of our contractors, our Senior Vegetation Management Inspector-TRAQ may support Vegetation Management Inspector (VMI). Performs inspections, audits, and monitors contractor performance. Plans, directs, and coordinates the activities of assigned tree clearance crews. Serves as a liaison between clients, tree crews and customers.

Note: This position is designated as a safety-sensitive role.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• The SVMI (TRAQ) shall resolve obstacles to allow for the completion of the work in a safe, cost effective, efficient, timely, and productive manner, such as managing time and expenses (T&E) in the field, to minimize rework and drive quality.
• The SVMI (TRAQ) may manage day-to-day activities to ensure personnel stay focused on the assigned job and verify appropriate scope is being achieved, applicable equipment is utilized, and proper documentation updated.
• The SVMI (TRAQ) may act as the VM contact for new business and re-construction work requested by the Energy Delivery organization.
• With PG&E representative approval, the SVMI (TRAQ) may approve scheduling and scope changes in the field.
• The SVMI (TRAQ) shall encourage public, contractor, and employee safety on site at all times by promoting positive leadership, positive safety culture, good catches, exhibiting an absolute commitment to safety for self and others, and by ensuring all applicable safety rules, regulations and standards are followed. • As directed by a PG&E representative, the SVMI (TRAQ) shall maintain working relationship with all public agencies including but not limited to Caltrans, CalFire, USFS, and BLM.
• The SVMI (TRAQ) shall maintain working relationship with PG&E’s tree contractors to assist in escalated work such as customer complaints

Basic Responsibilities:

• The SVMI (TRAQ) shall patrol distribution or transmission circuits and prescribe work to be performed by PG&E’s tree contractor, ensuring that the clearances prescribed will maintain compliance for a minimum of one calendar year.
• The SVMI (TRAQ) shall determine when the next trim is required and whether a trim or removal is necessary, assessing all trees with the potential to strike PG&E facilities for failure likelihood and hazards.
• Patrolling, identifying, and prescribing required tree pruning and tree/brush removal Work needed to facilitate completion of electric compliance tags such as 540 tags to meet all regulatory requirements and/or to PG&E Vegetation Management standards and procedures.
• The SVMI (TRAQ) shall ensure that their work is performed in accordance with PG&E Vegetation Management Standards and Procedures, project specifications, applicable permits, and safety requirements, and in compliance with all governing federal, state, and local jurisdictional agencies.
• The SVMI (TRAQ) shall be required to utilize computers and be capable of running reports and updating data within PG&E’s VMDSRs.
• The SVMI (TRAQ) shall be capable and comfortable working with software applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• The SVMI (TRAQ) may perform Quality Check audits on assigned VMIs, focusing on field compliance and data integrity.
• The SVMI (TRAQ) may be required to assist in outage investigations.
• The SVMI (TRAQ) may be asked to assist in the local Divisional Operational Emergency Center (OEC) in the role of Vegetation Resource Coordinator, as required.
• The SVMI (TRAQ) may be required to assist in fire and incident investigation.
• The SVMI (TRAQ) may be asked to assist in customer claims investigations.
• As requested by the PG&E Representative, the SVMI (TRAQ) shall perform all necessary duties for emergency response in accordance with all safety requirements, laws and regulations, and applicable labor agreements.
• The SVMI (TRAQ) must assure all sections of line are patrolled according to the annual plan and VM patrol standards and processes, and that these patrols were correctly documented under PG&E’s mapping procedure.
• The SVMI (TRAQ) must identify and notify the PG&E representative of newly identified Idle and Private Lines.
• The SVMI (TRAQ) shall perform other Work as directed by the PG&E representative or PG&E standards and procedures.

• Five (5) years of experience as a Vegetation Management Inspector and Certified Arborist OR

• Five (5) years of experience as a Utility Inspector or higher classification with at least one (1) year of vegetation management experience OR
• Four (4) years of Military Service with honorable discharge and at least one (1) year additional year of vegetation management inspection experience AND Approval by PG&E Representative

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the ACRT Pacific salary range for this position. Senior Counsel, Trade Compliance

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced global trade compliance attorney to join our dynamic team and help to innovate Applied Materials’ compliance program with the evolving regulatory landscape for the semiconductor industry.  This senior counsel position will support all facets of global trade compliance with an emphasis on supply chain, engineering and procurement functional related trade challenges.  The successful candidate will have experience supporting complex trade issues involving classification of technology, software and/or source code; technology transfers and IT controls/security for controlled technology; and supply chain and procurement restrictions resulting from recent export control regulatory changes and import restrictions globally.  In this position, you will contribute to functional strategy and lead project teams involving innovative and evolving regulatory changes in the semiconductor industry.

Based in Santa Clara, CA, this will be a critical role reporting into the Senior Director, Trade Compliance.  This Senior Counsel, Trade Compliance will join a growing team of dedicated in-house legal support to the company’s global trade function and work horizontally with key business stakeholders.

Job Description Summary:

• Responsible for designing and recommending solutions across all cyber areas. Creates solutions that will protect proprietary and confidential data and systems. Leverages in-depth knowledge of cyber environment to investigate, mitigate, and implement processes and procedures to correct intrusions. Conducts proactive cyber risk assessments to identify previously undetected vulnerabilities or intrusions. What You Will Do:

• Provide penetration testing services using a variety of tactics, techniques, and procedures to identify exploitable vulnerabilities in networks and systems while also measuring compliance with organizational security policies, testing whether staff are aware of security issues, and ultimately determining the organization’s risk to cybersecurity threats.

Senior Consultants In this role, the candidate will support the Security and Compliance team in its efforts to assist clients with cyber and physical security, grid reliability, risk management and/or utility wildfire mitigation. JOB DESCRIPTION: Prepare financial and disclosure statements for agribusiness sector using CCH Engagement software in order to serve clients in industries including, but not limited to, tree nuts, grain, fruit, other fresh and frozen produce, and retail stores. Train and coach new staff members in order to prepare them to take on more complex assignments and additional engagements. Perform audits of inventory, verify the accuracy and valuation of inventory of agricultural commodities such as hay, horticultural, meat, seafood, grain, tree nuts, dairy, fruit, winery, and poultry. Audit includes physical counts, reconciliation with book records, assessment of obsolescence or spoilage, and compliance with accounting standards. Perform inventory testing, which includes planning and risk assessments, physical inventory observation, valuation and costing, testing the existence and ownership, and quality and condition assessments. Develop audit procedures for agribusiness, using sampling techniques, risk assessments and price testing. Conduct employee benefit plan audits (401k primarily). Present audit findings, furnish financial statements and required deliverables, and review Form 5500. Collaborate with employee benefit plan third-party administrators, such as Fidelity, Principle, Matrix, Paychex, Empower, Ascensus. Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, such as the ERISA, DOL regulations. Review plan documents, participant disclosures, and other relevant materials to assess compliance. Work as the lead “in-charge” auditor responsible for overall execution of audit including risk assessment and planning, project timeline and deliverables, and managing complex audit engagements, including overseeing the work of staff and/or Associate level personnel, reviewing work and providing feedback. Furnishing financial statements and deliverables, including balance sheet, income statement, cashflow statements, and drafting footnote disclosures and supplemental schedules. Keep manager/principal aware of engagement status and problem areas. Interact and communicate with clients to gather information to ensure timely engagement completion.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field plus two (2) years of experience in an accounting position or related occupation to include processing and reporting company financial data, conducting consultations with clients on legislation and regulation, and working with cloud-based business/financial software such as Workday, APG, Knowledge Coach, Engagement Organizer or similar. Postsecondary coursework must have included governmental accounting and use of GASB. Must be eligible to sit for CPA exam. Domestic travel required 30% of the time to/from client sites, training, and meetings. Telecommuting permitted within Roseville, CA. New hires subject to background check.

SALARY: $92,000 to $110,454 per year.
