• Architect and implement clinical-quality software solutions for a novel medical robot system in a medical-regulated environment with focus on requirements and feature definition, design, implementation, and use of robot software frameworks and multi-arm robot control algorithms; and integration in an Image Guided System.

• Participate in or lead software design discussions and code reviews (both internal and multi-functional) for robotic solutions and workflows; and follow quality & regulatory processes (ISO13485, IEC 62304).

You're the right fit if:

Role: Senior Service Delivery Specialist (Project Co-Ordinator)
Fixed Term Contract 12 months initial (FTC)
Location: Cheltenham - commutable

In this role you will act as the first point of contact and providing high quality support to specified clients. Your focus will be to co-ordinate internal resources to ensure key tasks are delivered in line with required learning outcomes and in accordance with contract terms.

Key Responsibilities:
Create and maintain project plans and track progress to ensure successful delivery of projects.
Liaise internally with colleagues to ensure all quality standards are achieved.
Maintain strong relationships with members of the client team.
Produce insightful reports for clients to support the management of their programmes and events.
Raise issues that may impact the RAID log
Escalate risks to ensure appropriate action is taken to mitigate them.
Deliver high levels of customer service to assist the wider sales team in developing strategic client relationships.

Key Skills / Experience Required:
Great Microsoft Office - including Excel using vlook up, pivot tables highly desirable
Experience within a highly client-centric environment, servicing a wide range of offerings
Working to tight deadlines with high levels of accuracy
Experience of implementing improvements to business process
Experience in offering solutions to more complex queries

The ROLE

Due to continued growth an opportunity has arisen for a talented Quality Control Manager - Production Welding & Fabrication to join their successful team. This role will involve;

QC
* Focal point for QC activities
* Quality and manufacturing documentation, such as ITP and Quality Plans
* Manage a small team of QC Engineers
* Prioritise inspection activities of both in-house and contract inspectors
* Take responsibility for NCR's

Technical
* Train Welders
* Prepare weld books, WPS, etc.
* Responsibility for Pressure Equipment Directive (PED)

The CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will be a talented QHSE/Quality Control professional with experience of managing within a manufacturing/fabrication/production welding environment allied to the desire, ability and confidence to forge a career within a market leading organisation. You will require;

o Good relevant qualification
o Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) background
o Knowledge of structural steel and pipework fabrication
o Experience in a QC Engineering Role
o CSWIP would be advantageous

This role leads the design and development of advanced fuel management and control technologies, ensuring compliance with engineering processes, safety standards, and performance targets.

Within this context, the purpose of the Hydrogen Fuel Management and Controls Lead is to:

• Provide leadership, management and technical oversight on the design, development and testing of the fuel management and control systems, initially through to ground demonstration at TRL 6 in 2027.

• Coordinate with various teams across the project collaboration, including engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance, to ensure that the fuel system elements satisfy performance, safety, and applicable regulatory standards.

• Address issues that arise during the design and verification phases, apply thorough systems engineering practises to and make informed design and project decisions.

Your responsibilities in this role include:

• Implement and ensure compliance with Lifecycle Management and Engineering processes within Marshall Futureworx hydrogen industrial research context.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to the hydrogen fuel system.

• Lead the design and development of advanced aerospace fuel management and control systems, including fuel measurement, distribution, and system/health monitoring technologies.

• Ensure the design meets performance targets, safety requirements, and integration needs within an aircraft's overall systems.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to create detailed specifications, schematics, and control algorithms for fuel management and distribution systems.

• Facilitate cross-functional workshops to integrate fuel management and control subsystems within the overall fuel system / aircraft architecture.

• Develop and implement advanced control algorithms and systems for efficient and precise fuel measurement, distribution, and monitoring.

• Utilize model-based systems engineering (MBSE) practices to develop requirements-led modelling and simulation capability, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of control systems.

• Plan and oversee comprehensive testing and validation procedures for fuel management and control systems to ensure technology maturity (TRL3-6), functionality, reliability, and safety.

• Analyse test data, identify patterns, and collaborate with testing teams to address any issues or anomalies in the performance of fuel management and control technologies.

• Ensure that fuel management and control system design, manufacturing, and maintenance processes adhere to relevant aerospace industry regulations and safety standards.

• Identify gaps in existing standards and collaborate with regulatory bodies and industry partners to develop new standards where necessary, ensuring compliance with evolving industry requirements.

• Collaborate with the project team and support functions to monitor project progress, track milestones, and address any deviations from the project plan.

• Proactively identify potential challenges and deviations, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure timely and successful project completion.

• Facilitate knowledge retention and dissemination strategies.

• Capture, organize, and preserve knowledge, insights, and best practices related to the hydrogen fuel system.

• Perform effective risk management activities to identify potential risks, opportunities, or vulnerabilities in the fuel system's design or operation.

• Develop strategies to mitigate identified risks.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency, performance, and reliability of the fuel system architecture.

• Roadmap the remaining Technology Readiness Levels (TRL6-TRL9) for the fuel system.

Key tasks include:

• Implement model-based systems engineering (MBSE) practices to develop requirements-led modelling and simulation capability. Ensure simulations are of sufficient fidelity to measurably de-risk design decisions.

• Utilize MBSE tools to create dynamic models that allow for iterative testing and refinement of the fuel system design.

• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders to clearly communicate project status, milestones, and outcomes.

• Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of project developments and challenges.

• Analyse data in collaboration with simulation and testing teams to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in the resulting performance.

• Working closely with the simulation and testing teams manage any issues or anomaly resolution identified during testing, ensuring optimal performance of the fuel system.

Apply if you have most of the following:

• Degree level or equivalent in a STEM or adjacent discipline

• Experience in aerospace engineering or related field, with a focus on fuel management, control systems, and technology development.

• Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating complex projects.

• Experience in control system design for liquid hydrogen handling highly desired.

• Experience in relevant technology development [TRL3-6] project environments highly desired

• Applied experience in developing new supply chains desirable.

• In-depth knowledge in the development, implementation and validation of fuel management and control system algorithms and hardware specification / selection.

• In-depth knowledge of applied system health management methodologies

• Experience in digital design, with proficiency in relevant computer/software packages, to support low risk design development and validation. Including or equivalent to IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management tools [DOORS NEXT, Workflow and Test management and Rhapsody], software integrated development environments, configuration and issue tracking, MATLAB, Simulink and Simscape, Siemens Capital software.

• Strong project and risk management skills.

• Experience in manufacturing of mock-ups and prototypes.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
