The senior compliance risk analyst for Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM)’s Surveillance team is responsible for the oversight for surveillance services designed to detect behaviors that may violate regulatory rules or internal policies and procedures. Drilling down to case information as appropriate to determine practice improvement actions as required

Taking strategic direction from the Assistant Director Strategic Commissioning Development to provide a confidence level in service provision in Hackney, ensuring provider concerns are appropriately evoked and a joint approach with providers to ensuring providers can be given appropriate levels of business

Robust data management in analysing, tracking and reporting on the performance of Service contracts, using local and national data, benchmarking against industry standards and national guidelines where appropriate.

A Day in the Life

• Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality standards and protocol for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.
• Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
• Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
• Designs or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
• Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
• May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.

Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Biomedical engineering, biotechnology, etc.) or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in engineering role related to manufacturing of medical devices.
