Job Scope:

• To coordinate and assist in the conduct of clinical research studies and trials
• Perform screening activities according to protocol eligibility criteria and assist in recruitment.
• Obtain proper written informed consent from each study participant prior to participation in the study.
• Schedule study visits as per protocol and ensure visit schedules are adhered to.
• Create any documents required for the successful conduct of a clinical research study or trial.
• Assist in data collection and maintain research data integrity.
• Monitor and report all adverse/ unanticipated events, abnormal results, and protocol deviations or non-compliance to the Principal Investigator and CRU.
• Work closely with research team for smooth coordination of research projects.
• Assist PI in preparation of study-related presentations/materials.
• Ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Minimum a Diploma or Degree, preferably in Life Science / Biomedical Science or equivalent
• Competent in MS Office
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Candidate with knowledge of Good Clinical Practice, medical and research terminology and ethics is at advantage

Job Description:

• Stakeholder Engagement and Needs Assessment: Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify their needs and clarify research/evaluation questions. Ensure alignment of priorities with the institution's, cluster’s, and ministry's vision, mission, and goals.
• Research and Evaluation Design: Contribute to the development of robust and rigorous research and evaluation methodologies for complex and specialized Health Services Research (HSR) studies.
• Data Collection and Analysis: Plan, oversee, and manage data collection efforts for health program evaluations and HSR studies. Analyze results, generate actionable insights, and communicate findings, highlighting strengths, areas for improvement, and recommendations to inform future health programs and services.
• Knowledge Dissemination: Promote interest in and disseminate valuable knowledge related to public health, health program evaluation, and outcomes research. Share findings with the broader healthcare community both nationally and internationally.

Requirements:

• Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Public Health, or a related field.
  For Senior level: Minimum of a Master's or PhD in Public Health, Data Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in SPSS, STATA, or other statistical analysis software.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and summarize complex data accurately.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

The Services required are set out as follows:

a) Assist in the daily operations of the assigned science laboratories, science gardens, aquaponics, hydroponics and pond.

b) Responsible for the setup, clean up and general maintenance of the science laboratories and Science Areas.

c) Responsible for the cleanliness of the Recycling Corner.

d) Assist in preparation of laboratory apparatus, equipment and teaching materials for scheduled laboratory activities.

e) Assist in stock taking exercise and maintenance of equipment.

f) Typing of worksheets and notes.

g) Supporting and assisting in departmental events, activities and programmes.

h) Any other duties assigned by the School.

Requirement

Experience working in School's Science lab

To be able to do gardening

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 1:30pm, inclusive of 30 mins lunch break

• Fridays: 7:30am to 3:30pm, inclusive of 1 hour lunch break
