We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Operations Specialist like you to join our amazing team!
As a Senior Supply Chain Operations Specialist you will be responsible for setting 13-week operational supply plan for consumer manufacturing source(s) using the Blue Yonder suite of planning tools supported by a proficient understanding of supply planning theory necessary to align with sales priorities and minimize efficiency losses. This role is also responsible for managing the relationship with the source(s) and reconciling gaps in actual supply to the plan.
In addition to setting the supply plan this role must also, but not limited to, maintain master data in supply planning systems, maintain/develop relevant work instructions, root cause supply shortfalls, identify and quantify the impact of supply constraints, formulate potential corrective actions, effectively communicate escalation requirements, and reconcile gaps in data sets/planning assumptions between cross functional teams.
In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:
• Display proficient understanding of supply planning theory by creating and executing operational supply plans aligned with business priorities
• Maintain master data in supply planning tools and systems of record relevant to assigned manufacturing source(s)
• Independently execute ad-hoc supply planning analysis, formulating corrective actions, and effectively communicating findings to business stakeholders as needed
• Troubleshoot and work with IT resources to resolve issues affecting IT systems relevant to assigned manufacturing source(s)
• Designated supply chain subject matter expert regarding assigned manufacturing source(s)
• Leads processes of diverse scope, while working independently with limited supervision
• Supports continuous improvement/automation activities
• Uses advanced analytical/technical problem-solving to develop new solutions to existing problems/procedures
• Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Proficient to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree, required. Preferred business, supply chain, or engineering/mathematics.
Experience in advanced planning capability tools (ex. Blue Yonder/JDA o9, SAP APO/IBP, Kinaxis), preferred.
2+ years experience in supply chain or data analytics required.
"Can do" attitude with strong attention to detail.
Strong analytical, critical thinking capability.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment to meet dynamic business needs.
Advanced proficient use in Excel, strongly preferred.
Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience
