The position of Business Continuity Planner involves:

• Identify and make recommendations for change and improvement to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery practices remain aligned to business needs.

• Develop processes and protocols covering the translation of business priorities into practical and actionable business continuity for all areas of the business and disaster recovery plans.
• Provide support to and work with a range of depot managers and central functions to achieve the effective delivery of a business continuity plan for their operational area.
• To chair & lead operational meetings to ensure project & information is delivered.

Desirable skills required for Business Continuity Planner:

• Level 4 or above qualification in either Business Continuity, Emergency planning, Risk Management, Business management or similar discipline. Working experience within a logistics business.
• Proven experience in the logistics industry, or demonstrable transferable skill set from an alternative industry.
• Knowledge of BCP professional practices as well as understanding of data analytical and reporting concepts helpful. Knowledge of Operational Resilience is an added advantage.

Essential skills required for Business Continuity Planner:

• Be able to demonstrate administrative and project management skills.
• Organisational skills and the ability to manage and prioritise work to comply with agreed deadlines and with minimal supervision.
• Ability to break down complex problems into simple terms, document findings in a manner that is understandable to someone who is not a Subject Matter Expert

In this position, the Voids Operative Driver will cover parts of Devon as part of a team carrying out Voids and Repairs work.

You will be responsible for assisting other staff in carrying out both void and responsive repairs works by undertaking duties for which no formal trade qualification is required.

The post holder must have a valid licence and experience of driving vehicles up to and exceeding 7.5 tonnes, towing trailers and have experience driving plant machinery, including mini diggers and dumpers.

Core duties will include property clearances, garden clearance and transporting debris arising to landfill sites, general labouring, driving plant and excavations, and semi skilled repairs.

Other duties will comprise of:

1. To carry out clearances of tenants' furniture and belongings, either to the Local Authority transfer station, landfill site, or to a designated store, as instructed by the Voids Supervisor.
2. To demolish and clear away garden sheds and other small external structures.
3. To carry out basic gardening, such as 'strimming' and cutting back shrubs and tree branches.
4. To carry out ground works such as excavating fence post holes and trenches, terracing land, and clearing away excess soil with a mini digger.
5. To undertake general labouring duties such as lifting and mixing of plaster, mortar and concrete and hacking off of defective plaster walls and ceilings.
6. To terminate the water supply and strip out old kitchens ready for the tradesman to replace with new.

This position will involve driving vehicles upto 7.5 ton therefore it is a requirement for you to hold a Class 2/Category C Driving License.

Hours: Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday
Salary: £13.02 per hour

The role

If you love cars, driving and have a sense of adventure, this could be the role for you. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to become a part of a team and grow our network of Vehicle Handover Specialists for the UK’s favourite car buying service.

As a Collection and Delivery Driver you will be based from home/nearest WEBUYANYCAR site and will be collecting and delivering vehicles from sites on a daily basis.

You will be working within a team of driving using a runner vehicle to get you to your jobs. Minimum use of public transport but if required all expenses will be covered by us.

You will typically be working 40 hours per week between the hours of 7am-7pm. However, you are paid from the moment you leave the house until you get home.

You will receive a full company induction via our in-house dedicated Driver Training Programme, all equipment provided along with fuel cards and company credit cards for travel expensive. We also have a dedicated team for WEBUYANYCAR drivers to provide day to day driver support.
