What Security contributes to Cardinal Health

Security implements measures to safeguard the company's assets from circumstances and threats that would cause harm or loss.

Security ensures the credentialing of visitors, provides surveillance of the company's facilities, enforces regular security standards and procedures, responds to security crises, and manages relationships with security vendors.

Responsibilities

• Daily security procedures

• Corporate security and safety standards compliance

• Emergency response and crisis management

• Physical security of multiple locations in Dublin, Ohio and Groveport, Ohio

• Routine patrols

• Security policies and procedures enforcement

• Security or medical incidents response; reporting actions and findings

• Provide high-quality customer service at security desks, and interact in a professional manner with employees, contractors, and visitors

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred

• 1+ years’ experience in a related field preferred

• Prior experience in the security industry is preferred

• EMT basic preferred

• Paramedic experience preferred

• Ability to work independently and perform all job duties with minimal supervision

• Willing to work a wide range of hours, including nights and/or weekends

• Willing to work at both Dublin or Groveport locations

Headquartered in Dublin, Ohio, Cardinal Health, Inc. (NYSE: CAH) is a distributor of pharmaceuticals, a global manufacturer and distributor of medical and laboratory products, and a provider of performance and data solutions for healthcare facilities.  Departing from Columbus, Ohio, our Part 91 Aviation department aircraft currently includes a Falcon 2000LXS and Embraer Praetor 500.

Aircraft Maintenance is responsible for servicing, inspecting, repairing, and managing the overall quality assurance program for the corporate aircraft and associated equipment in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer requirements, and IS-BAO standards as defined in the Company Flight Operations Manual and Standard Operating Procedures.  Additional tasks may include, but are not limited to, receiving and shipping of aircraft parts, minor building maintenance, maintaining facility entryways, minor landscaping, and purchasing and/or replenishment of aircraft stock.  

Responsibilities

• Accurately completes all required Aircraft maintenance records and other aircraft documentation such as Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
• Performs routine inspections and troubleshooting as well as Aircraft Pre- and Post-Flight Inspections
• Works with Manager of Aircraft Maintenance, other Maintenance Technician, and Scheduler to ensure daily coverage of all scheduled flight activities including launching and recovering trips and passenger assistance.
• Use knowledgeable of department FOM and ISBAO procedures as well as all company policies.
• When necessary, will supervise and assist outside Maintenance contractors for specialized aircraft maintenance activities.
• Maintains the Company Aircraft interior and exterior to a best in class standard.
• Works on complex problems that require independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issue.
• Adheres to all Cardinal Health policies and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
• High School Diploma or GED and 4+ years of related experience preferred.
• Previous experience with Dassault Falcon and/or Embraer Praetor strongly preferred.
• ISBAO Experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail—critical eye for data accuracy – strong documentation skills.
• Must possess strong computer and troubleshooting skills as well as solid reading, writing, math and skills.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate effectively and interact with personnel at various levels of expertise.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Must be open-minded, decisive, and flexible.
• Must be very well organized, detail oriented and possess ability to multi-task.
• Must have ability to plan to ensure timely completion and follow up on assigned tasks.
• Be proactive and willing to take initiative and responsibility.
• Must have a high level of personal integrity.

Anticipated salary range: $85,000 - $130,000

What External Reporting contributes to Cardinal Health

Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.

External Reporting is responsible for the preparation and review of financial information to be released outside of the organization such as to the SEC, international statutory regulators and other organizations as well as for the research, interpretation, and communication of related accounting matters.

Responsibilities

• US GAAP accounting close and statutory responsibilities for a entities within Europe. Key unique responsibilities include FX analysis.

• This role requires good analytical skills and business acumen due to volume of activity involved.

• Performing trend analysis and reviewing monthly activity for US GAAP close processes.

• Working with third party firms to complete US GAAP and Local GAAP close activities and holding them accountable to high performance and meeting project deadlines. This includes working with local accounting teams in various jurisdictions to complete a local GAAP TB and statutory financial statements. This role also includes working with external auditors for entities that require statutory audits.

• Performing US GAAP to local GAAP account reconciliations (G2S Rec) and statutory financial statements.

• Possesses the relevant experiences and capabilities to identify, research, evaluate, conclude on, and document both technical GAAP matters and operational accounting issues.

• Is able to strategically and effectively identify improvement opportunities. Identifies the appropriate tools, approach, and cross functional involvement to execute on opportunities that are identified. While doing so, remains flexible and adaptable, partners cross functionally, employs the appropriate level of professional skepticism, and effectively manages projects and related workstreams. 

• Is adept at identifying and responding to internal control and financial statement risk. Effectively responds to and mitigates risk and concludes on the effectiveness of related mitigation efforts. 

• Supports cross-functional initiatives to implement digital tools through partnership and collaboration with internal and external project participants and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience preferred

• BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field preferred

• CPA Preferred
