Administrator / Laboratory Administration Reporting Officer who has an eye for detail and excellent administrative, organisational, communication and data entry / data input skills with experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required to join a well-established company based in Waltham Abbey, Essex.
SALARY: £25,000 per annum
LOCATION: Waltham Abbey, Essex
TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: 40 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday, 8am – 6pm

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Administrator / Laboratory Administration Reporting Officer who has an eye for detail and excellent administrative, organisational, communication and data entry / data input skills with experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Working as the Administrator / Laboratory Administration Reporting Officer you will play an integral role within the Laboratory operations.
As the Administrator / Laboratory Administration Reporting Officer you will be an analytical and enthusiastic individual, working as part of the Laboratory Team. The role will have a number of responsibilities that require a high level of attention of detail, ability to work to tight deadlines, monitor SLA’s and comfortable to liaise with clients as needed.
Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, you will be a dependable member of the team who has a professional and supportive attitude, with the ability to handle multiple tasks.

DUTIES
Your duties and responsibilities as the Administrator / Laboratory Administration Reporting Officer include:
• Maintain current document procedures through regular review as defined in the Quality Management System
• Attend and participate in internal meetings as appropriate
• Communicate and coordinate with internal departments as appropriate
• Raising non-conformances, planned deviations, changes, risks and improvements as required
• Adhere to ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 requirements in testing and quality control procedures
• Ensure commitment to impartiality and confidentiality, integrity and accessibility of information
• Adhering to all policy, procedure, regulatory, customer and standard requirements relating to quality, information security and environmental management systems
• General administration, including: respond to emails, answer the telephone, opening post, scanning, copying, faxing etc.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum requirement is to be educated to GCSE level or equivalent, or have previous experience working in the field of A&D testing
• Sharp mental awareness and attention to detail
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing
• Computer competent (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word etc)
DESIRABLE
• Experience in using LIMS
• Experience in the issuing of reports in coalition with declaration of declared medications
