Acorn by Synergie is currently looking to recruit a number of Social Work Assistants to work with Children across different teams for their client in Cardiff.

The successful candidate will join the established and supportive team who, with the support of the Principal Social Worker and Team Manager will assist with the delivery of services. The successful candidate will be responsible for case allocation of a small caseload of where necessary for the particular team.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. To arrange and monitor appropriate services in line with individual care plans.
2. To provide advice and practical help.
3. To liaise with voluntary and statutory agencies.
4. To complete annual care plan reviews and or reassessments.
5. To participate in team meetings and duty rotas.
6. To undertake these duties in line with Council Policies and Procedures.
7. To undertake training and self-development and to contribute to this process in others.
