Company Overview:

Acorn by Synergie is currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Accountant to join their client's team. They are a well-established accountancy practice located in Bradley Stoke, with a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to providing top-notch financial services to clients.

Job Description:

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in the success of our company by providing expert financial advice and services to clients. You will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, including small businesses, corporations, and high-net-worth individuals, ensuring their financial affairs are handled efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports for clients
Monitor and analyse financial data to provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients
Manage client relationships and provide excellent customer service
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Oversee and train junior accountants on client engagements
Assist in the development and implementation of financial plans and strategies for clients
Conduct thorough and accurate tax planning and preparation for clients
Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and industry developments
Collaborate with partners and team members to achieve company goals

Requirements:

ACA or ACCA qualified accountant
Extensive experience in an accountancy practice
Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to manage and develop client relationships
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office
A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
