Main purpose of the role

To provide day to day operational leadership in the Yard area ensuring required vehicle movements are completed in a timely, safe and efficient manner.

To support the Duty Manager – Yard Logistics in the delivery of all elements of effective people management including recruitment, training, performance management, communication and wellbeing.

Your key responsibilities will be:

People Management:


To manage all elements of the employee lifecycle including onboarding and offboarding.
Performance management of the team including training, coaching and appraisals to ensure both optimum performance and talent pipeline.
Effective workforce management, including absence planning, ensuring optimum staff levels at all times and adherence to working time directive.
Effective communication to team ensuring awareness of results and key priorities.


Operational Management:


To transport vehicles across the site safely and efficiently to support production areas, buyer collections and internal and external collection agents.
Ensure adherence to BCA Standard Operating Procedures.
Ensure that quality, speed and cost targets are delivered to maximise profitability.
Ensure the logistics team provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers, supporting other departments where appropriate.
Organise the layout and flow of the yard to optimise capacity, efficiency and safety whilst minimising onsite damage.

Do you have a good eye for detail and an interest in the motor industry?

As an appraiser at BCA you would be part of the UK’s largest used vehicle business, generating vehicle cosmetic condition reports that enable varying makes, models, and value vehicles to be sold through our online platform.

Your role will be to create an accurate description of a vehicle condition aligned to BCA grading and costed inspection standards, so that details of the condition and specification of vehicles entered onto the in-house systems are accurate.

Your key responsibilities will be:

- Undertake appraisal/inspection and imaging of vehicles.

- Undertake costed vehicle inspections and imaging to set customer standards and maintain up-to-date knowledge of customer inspection processes and standards.

- Be able to meet a minimum daily target of vehicle inspections and images.

- Recommend any vehicle enhancement services.

- Move vehicles around the site adhering to site speed limits and safe-driving practices at all times.

- Ensure that the Company’s health and safety standards and practices are adhered to in the yard so that accidents to vehicles and people are prevented.

As an IT Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the efficient delivery of IT services to meet our business needs and objectives. Key Skills


Proven experience in IT service delivery or IT operations, and in a managerial or leadership role.
Experience in managing IT services in a complex, multi-vendor environment.
Proven track record in managing and optimising IT service delivery in alignment with SLAs and business goals.
Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices in service management.
ITIL V3/V4 certification is desirable.
Knowledge of service management tools (ServiceNow).

The role

If you love cars, driving and have a sense of adventure, this could be the role for you.

As a Collection and Delivery Driver you will be based from home/nearest WEBUYANYCAR site and will be collecting and delivering vehicles from sites on a daily basis.

You will be working within a team of drivers using a runner vehicle to get you to your jobs. Minimum use of public transport but if required all expenses will be covered by us.

You will typically be working 40 hours per week between the hours of 7am-7pm. However, you are paid from the moment you leave the house until you get home.

You will receive a full company induction via our in-house dedicated Driver Training Programme, all equipment provided along with fuel cards and company credit cards for travel expensive. We also have a dedicated team for WEBUYANYCAR drivers to provide day to day driver support.

As a Team Leader in the Customer Claims department, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the team, guiding and supporting Claims Advisors to meet performance targets while ensuring exceptional customer service standards. Allocate and prioritise workflow for the team, ensuring KPIs and service levels are met
Motivate, coach, and support the team daily to achieve and exceed individual and team target
Conduct regular 1-2-1s and appraisals, providing constructive feedback and identifying development needs. Address performance issues swiftly and effectively to maintain high standards
Resolve customer-related issues and complaints, ensuring a positive experience for both customers and the company
Use customer feedback to inform team improvements and implement action plans.
Provide operational feedback to the Claims Team Manager, contribute to the implementation of new processes, and be actively involved in the recruitment and selection process for new team members
