This is a fantastic opportunity to join Gi Group as we are seeking to appoint Production Operatives based in WA5 to work with our client packing meal plans. The role will involve working in a chilled environment.

Production Operative responsibilities:

* Picking and packing a wide range of products into our red box's.
* The box will stop in front of you, the bar code will be scanned, and lights will go off to tell you which product to pick.
* Ensuring all food safety practices are adhered to.
* Safely closing our boxes once picked, ensuring they have the correct levels of ice and sealed to prevent contamination.
* General Operative duties such as palletising, unloading, hygiene etc.
* It's cold in the Warehouse, circa 3 degrees, so please only consider working with us if you are happy working in a chilled environment.

Gi Group is currently looking for an experienced Team Leader to help manage and oversee the agency staff members within the factory. As a Team Leader, you will oversee the agency staff within the factory using effective feedback and communication of company goals while assessing work performance and identifying areas for improvement.

Supervisors Job Duties:
- Assist during inductions with site tours and access to PPE.
- Completing site check ins and replacing any shortfall at 6am and 6pm
- Assist with PPE spot checks and adherence to site rules.
- Ensure all workers queries and concerns are reported and followed up in a timely manner.
- Assist with roll out of briefs where needed.
- Report back to Gi Group Account Coordinator any concerns raised by the workforce to ensure their query is adequately resolved.
- Meet New Starters at Security and introduce to department Chargehands and Managers.
- Site walk rounds checking on the colleagues.
- Building a strong relationship with the site management team
- Oversee and support the recruitment process
- Responsible for the agency colleagues across the weekend shifts.
- Help and support colleagues / customers with their enquiries over the telephone, providing more information, pointing them to the right guidance or escalating their enquiry.
- Resolve customer queries at the first point of contact where possible, using brilliant communication skills to
handle sometimes complex challenging conversations.
- Supporting sites in the local areas with social media and attraction

Admin duties:
- Scanning and filing documents within the office
- Issue access cards where required
- Completing payroll
- Planning shifts for the following week covering sickness and absence.
- Provide first rate customer service to inbound /outbound calls from customers or colleagues.
- Undertake administrative work in addition to telephony work via Digital platforms.

The various types of machines you will work on may include liquid filling machines, shrink wrapping systems, automatic conveying and packaging systems, knowledge of pneumatic systems. Robotics and automation experience in a similar role is essential.

Knowledge and skill requirements include:
* Previous work experience in ISO5 and ISO 7 Clean Room (and be comfortable working wearing a respirator hood and PPE)
* Routine maintenance of associated laboratory, manufacturing, and workshop equipment. · . Including production automation, liquid filling machines, cartoners, shrink wrappers, conveying systems and sealers.
* Completion of documentation to GDP/ GMP Standards using computerised maintenance management systems

* Be able to work on multiple projects, planned and reactive adopting SCRUM methodology.

* Engineering modern apprenticeship / time served (i.e.City & Guilds / BTEC / NVQ Level 3).
* Minimum HNC qualification in engineering

GI Group are currently recruiting for a multi drop Class 1 driver based in Runcorn

Class 1 days & Nights available multi drop - Days £16.00 Nights £18.50
Shifts:
* Start time of Between 06:00 & 07:00 am
* Monday to Friday
* Shifts vary between 8 to 15 hours

Main Duties will include:
- Securing loads
- Delivering safely to both customers and businesses throughout the north of England
- prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

The Candidate:

- A positive attitude and work ethic, always keen to learn new skills
- No more than 6 penalty points
- Valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English to adhere to health and safety requirements
- Have good customer service skills and an eye for detail

Please note due to insurance purposes you must have held your licence for at least 2 years with no more than 6 points

Main Responsibilities

• Effectively recruit staff for our clients, to the required quality and quantity within the various timelines
  that are required.
• Place adverts that are creative and innovative on various job boards and social media to maximise attraction
• Screening / interviewing candidates providing information and comprehensive advice on the recruitment process and the job role applied for
• Candidate registration
• To provide local support on candidate attraction campaigns by carrying out face to face registration days and attendance at jobs fairs
• Completing relevant candidate identity and Right to Work checks
• Completing progress updates daily through effective pipeline management to provide a detailed and precise update to monitor fulfilment and highlight any recruitment risks
• Through good interpersonal skills, build and establish effective working relationships with our internal colleagues to liaise on resourcing requirements, applicant progress and activity
• Displays ownership and accountability to ensure all candidate vetting is submitted correctly and meets customer standards and employment legislation

* Maintain a clean and safe working environment for everyone who enters the production areas.
* Closely managing cross functional collaboration, including working with teams such as Engineering and Material handling.
* Complete documentation to GDP standards.
